I had a little trouble getting the base to communicate with the receiver at first, but it ended up being user error. I use this to monitor the temperature in my greenhouse outdoors, and it's perfect for that. I have the base mounted in the kitchen, where I spend most of my time, and I can glance over any time of day and see what the temperature in the greenhouse is and make sure it's still warm or cool enough. I like the added weather feature, and the display is very nice. It looks good on my kitchen wall, not something I want to hide out of sight. I really like this and feel like it was a great bargain at that price, too.

Nice thermometer...

Nicely build device with multiple functions. It displays temperature/humidity/time/data/alarm. It comes with one separate sensor that can display temperature/humidity of remote location. I put thermometer in the bedroom and separate sensor on the deck outside (roughly 10m away from main unit), and still be able to receive the signal. The screen is very clear with large font. Very easy to see the info on the screen. Overall, I am happy with this purchase...

well constructed

This device is simple to set up and use. It sets the correct date and time by itself. The numerals are enough big and easy to read and comprehend. The back light is blue and is really bright. Appears to be very accurate with the Weather Channel outside temps and humidity. Takes 4 batteries - 2 in the sensor and 2 in the receiver. Seems to be well constructed.

Good product and great value

The transmitter did not function on first installation. Contacted the seller and unit was immediately replaced without question by UPS the following morning. Great customer service and new unit working perfectly and just as expected. Good product and great value.

Bought this to replace another brand thermometer that when I wanted the outside temp. This one shows all the time and does not have to be in a direct line with each unit. Set up was easy and worked from the get go.

I took a long time to choose a thermometer and overlooked this several times as I didn’t really want a thermometer/hygrometer with alarm clock or other functions, I have my cellphone so I only want a thermometer/hygrometer. Anyway glad that I ended up going for this: it’s moderate size and very easy to set up(the manual is written in good English). Its shortcomings are basically within my expectation: screen isn't big, forecasts and alarm clock are unnecessary but fortunately they only occupy a small area. Everything else is really good, and it all works well.

Overall, I'm very satisfied with this item

Main unit easy to use and very nice looking, but the transmitter isn't waterproof, so I must set it in a place where it doesn't get wet or direct sunlight or the metering is incorrect. Ensure to setup like behind a balcony rail or behind a plant something to take cover off rain, dust, and sunlight.

Main unit looks pretty good at my bedside and works very well, but the sensor doesn't work! Have sent a email to seller a few hours ago but did not get any reply, have to return this product if I don't get a reply from the seller tomorrow. Update: 10/29/18 great customer support, it works.

Arrive ahead of time & easy to use. Just needs 2 * AAA batteries for the sensor outside and connect the sensor with main unit, set the time is easy. Seems to be very accurate so far and looks pretty good after tearing off the screen protector.
