The fit is right on.

The fit is just right on at the waist. The shorts run long and my son is short so I did hem it 2 inches, but I usually have to hem all his pants. Not always shorts though, but like I said it’s a bit long legged. It looks great, very happy.

Great swimming trunks

Great swimming trunks, the 3T fits good on my 3.5-yr old although he usually wears smaller short/pants for his age range. Thus, based on the way the shorts fit him, they may be on the smaller side for someone with more average measures. A great feature is that this shorts do have an adjustable waist (drawstring) so I could have purchased a larger size and still be able to fit it.

Looks great! Bought a size 8 for my skinny10yr old.. Fits well. He is always 1 size behind his age. He wanted trunks that were not "lil boy trunks" Time will tell how well they hold up.

real drawstrings!

The drawstrings are real which is much appreciated since my 7-year old is on the skinny side. The trunks are long, which I guess is the style. I got these as the deal of the day, so the price was very good. He swam in them, no problem. They didn't sag. I like that the color will hide dirt and stains. My kid lives in his swim trunks over the summer, so it was imperative that the colors not show every stain. Great price, nice quality, and my kid likes them. I got them in several colors and styles (all Kanu brand), so I'm hoping that by cycling through the 3-4 pairs, they will last the summer and then some....

Great Buy

Great waist and great length

We've had some trouble finding the right swim trunks for my young teen son. He is very athletic, and has a small waist in proportion to his rear and thighs. These swim trunks are perfect! There is a drawstring that allows him to customize the tightness in the waist. No worrying about loosing his shorts! The coloring and pattern is attractive, and my son says the length is "perfect". They have resisted fading. I think these trunks would fit a variety of boys shapes. I would buy these again next year if he grows out of the trunks I purchased this year.

Excellent swim trunks

Excellent swim trunks. They can be tightened from the inside to cinch to the waist, which is a big plus for my crew who has a hard time finding appropriately fitting swim trunks. The quality is excellent and we would purchase again. You will not be disappointed.

Order one size up.

Order a size up. My son is in 2T and the 2T were snug. I returned it and got a size 3T and they fit better with some room to grow into. Just note that they have a faded look to them.

We won't buy any other brand of swim trunks, after trying these. True to size, extremely comfortable, held up to lots of crashes in the sand while boogie boarding. They have not faded or frayed at all. I highly recommend them.
