I drink a LOT of water every day and I've been very impressed with the design and overall functionality of this water bottle. It holds 24 oz and keeps my water cold for a long time. I love the ease of the one-touch button to dispense water from it. I can keep the flip-top open to drink from easier while driving or keep it on to keep the dispenser area clean. I don't have to worry about bugs flying into it either as it instantly closes upon release. If it tips over it NEVER spills. The handle makes it easier to carry around. It's easy to hold but a tad slippery as there is no grippers to it but overall not an issue. Even when full it's not too heavy. Fits easily in bottle holders as well as the base isn't wide. Due to the small hole size, it never drips all over or accidentally tip it too much as with some water bottles that drench me. Overall a great buy and I would buy more of these!

I've been using a similar contigo bottle for some time but needed something to keep my water cold much longer. This is it. It's keep it very cold ALL day. I'm able to stay more hydrated because I'm the type of person that has to have very cold water. I also just bought this to keep it even colder and because the stainless steel also gets hot when in sun or even just really cold from water. This protects your hand. This is my favorite Contigo sipper. It holds a lot, it keeps my ice drinks cold, and the carry handle helps me from dropping it. News flash...if you drop your stainless steel items on cement, they will dent. I pack my sipper everywhere and this is my second one with a handle. I love the dispenser. You push the button on the back and a flow of liquid comes through the top mouth piece. If you drop it, it seals and no spills. My 4 and 6 year olds can operate it. One final thing is that it is easy to clean and sterilize..all parts are accessible. I bought a sipper with a straw once and had to throw it away due to mold..I was constantly bleaching it to alleviate that problem. I do not like the slide tabs on the tops of some sippers. They dump the liquid in the lid and you drink off the top of the lid. I do not pack this with me when taking walks because it is heavier full, but I have a nice cool drink of water waiting in my car when the walk is over. PS If you are a coffee drinker or a hot drink drinker, your beverage will be HOT much longer. I got my coffee drinking siblings these for presents and included the warning with the gift. Two siblings called to say they burnt their mouths on hot coffee. HOT!

I'm impressed! This turned out to be a very good solution to keeping drinks cold while traveling in the car or while golfing. I've only used it once so far, but it kept ice for 5+ hours with outside temperatures in the lower 80's. I originally thought that the polished stainless steel surface might be slippery, but it didn't seem to be a problem at all.The bottle never leaked a drop even when laid on it's side in our refrigerator and one-handed, push-button operation is also a great feature. All in all, I am very pleased with my purchase. The packaging & shipping however left much to be desired... It arrived in a standard plastic mailing envelope with no padding or protection whatsoever. Upon removing the label & plastic wrap from the bottle, I noticed that it had 2 dents on the bottom as shown in the picture. As far as function, it's a really small deal. As far as buying something new that you assume will arrive undamaged, it's fairly disappointing - all the more so since I actually paid an additional $5.99 for shipping this one item. In the end, I decided to keep the bottle rather than go through the return process because I really wanted to use this bottle now that we are finally getting some warm weather in Michigan. I'd just hope to encourage Amazon to change the type of package that these bottles are shipped in.

I've been toting water bottles since the late 1980s. I've been using Sigg bottles for the past 10 years or so, and have never found anything better. Until now. This bottle does keep your water ice cold for hours, just like everyone says. The selling point for me is the spout. I never have to unscrew a cap or pop a cover. Press the button and the water goes right down. The other feature I love is that the top has a ring you can hang on your finger (hard to see in some pics). Bought one for everyone in the house, and three for my daily and nightly use! For those of you who don't read directions, seriously, don't put it in the freezer! I fill these bottles with water only. I've never had a better bottle.

Finally!! The holy grail! I used to have an under armour (made by Thermos) stainless steel vacuum bottle similar to this for years but the lid was made of cheap plastic. Just falling over would put a crack in the flip top and render it useless. BUT I really liked the design otherwise. KEY things you need in a good water bottle: 1) Keeps things cold for >12 hours (this reports 18 and I believe it if kept full...obviously if volume is low, it won't stay as cold as long). 2) Durable (let's face it you are going to drop this eventually) 3) ONE-handed operation (who has time to use TWO hands...I mean your phone is likely in the other, am I right?) 4) Handle...this one is great as it is there if you need it and hidden when you don't...again, multi-tasking...I often am juggling many things and to be able to carry 24 oz of ice cold water with my pinky finger, I'm happy. 5) Size. 24 oz is key. 18, 20 are too small and I don't like having to keep stopping to refill this throughout the day. Cons I would have to say if you want to use this for anything other than water, it may be hard to clean the top as it has a push button (opposite where you drink) that opens the opening for drinking and there is a complex mechanism inside the underside of the cap...it is dishwasher (top-rack) safe and so I'm fine with this as I only use it for water. Overall, a great WATER canteen. And in my opinion, the BEST for your money....I've been looking for quite a while.

For years I’ve been convinced that I had a curse upon me. That curse? The curse of a leaky water bottle. I was forever dumping out a purse or gym bag filled with water from a leaking bottle or loose top. The passenger seat in my car was water stained from all my casually tossed water bottles. Well, curse begone! I haven’t had a waterlogged purse since I converted to these Contigo water bottles. Once the top is screwed on, the auto-seal feature seals things right back up, preventing people like me from getting water everywhere. In addition, with a handful of ice cubes, this bottle keeps a beverage cold during a day at the beach or in a hot car. One thing I do miss: my plastic auto-seal Contigo bottles had a clip that would allow me to clip them to a bag strap or the bungees on my paddle board. This bottle has no clip and a carabiner on the handle only gets in the way of water flow while drinking. Would love to see these with a built-in clip. With that being said, no clip is a small price to pay for an auto-seal bottle that keeps a beverage cold all day!

This item is Great. Keeps my drink cold for hours and hours. I am so glad I purchased it and may even purchase a spare soon. Thank you seller and Amazon.com for offering this Contigo Stainless steel water bottle.

So I had a previous Contigo plastic style water bottle and before this one that seemed like it was as good as it could get. Then I gave this one a try and it did everything a little better except one minor thing that I can live with. So it keeps my water cold longer than any previous water bottle and the drinking button has worked flawlessly. It's easy one handed no mess drinking which is the main thing I wanted. Filling and cleaning are easy as well. It has a little flip up loop handle built into the cap that can be used for carrying or attaching to something. The drinking location has a small flip up protective cover that's very easy to manipulate one handed. This cover is nice in case you accidentally drop this onto a dirty surface. So for these reasons it's my favorite water bottle. If I had to find something to complain about it'd be that when I dropped my previous plastic style one there'd be no real damage. On this one the base has a metal cap that when dropped gets minor dents. These dents don't interfere with drinking or keeping your water cold. They also don't cause any leaks. However they do slightly change the base so that it doesn't have as flat of a bottom anymore. Not a deal breaker by any means I'm just being picky. I take it everywhere and live an active lifestyle so it gets dropped often and only the base cap has very minor dents, everything else is like new. I highly recommend this water bottle, I won't leave home without it!

I bought two of these, one for when I bike ride and one for the wife. My wife likes to have ice cold water at night when she goes to bed. I used it for the first time last night. When I woke up this morning I was curious to see if the ice would still be in the container. I shook it up and didn't hear anything bouncing around. I figured, ugh no good. We have another Contigo and it keeps her ice cubes solid all night. I was disappointed. I then opened it up to dump the old water and wash it when I realized that the reason I didn't feel or hear any ice bouncing around was that water around the cubes had frozen! While there was still liquid water in the container, the ice had formed around the shape of the container and didn't move! Very impressive.
