Good Sharpener

I really like this sharpener. I decided to take a chance with this one after searching for a long time. It works as described. I have made many old kitchen knives useable again. When I say old, I mean knicked and chipped knives. This thing has actually saved me from buying a new set. I also like how well it works with serrated knives. With the course sharpener, you can definitely see a difference from it removing small amounts of metal. I also like how it is very compact and does not move around on the counter when in use, especially with only applying minimal pressure.

Made blunt knives like new!

I bought this product for my Dad as he was complaining about his knives. he was just about to purchase a brand-new set but I convinced him to try this knife sharpener first. As his knives were so but he thought it wouldn't work. After spending a good half an hour with this product I can confirm that they are all now razor sharp and he is very happy. Nice design

The knife sharpener arrived on on time, as expected! It comes in a beautiful box & it’s simple to use. The directions are clear & so far, it’s what I wanted in a knife sharpener! There’s 3 slots ...1 for fine another coarse & 3rd for polishing! Don’t hesitate to buy!

Does what it says on the tin!

"Sharpening my knives is finally much easier! I wouldn't say it's going to make things very sharp on the first go, but it's certainly brought to life my dull and old knife set - finally, cutting tomatoes isn't such a chore! It's so easy to use as well - although if you're left handed it might not be quite so easy as it's a typically right handed item - the numbers 1-3 are left to right and I found it easier to use right handed. The instructions were simple and very easy to follow - pull the knife through in turn and for the appropriate number of strokes the instructions say, then give them a wipe down. Almost instantly I noticed an improvement, and several sharpens later they're getting better. I thoroughly recommend this if you're a lazy sharpener like me!"

I found it impossible to fail to revive my knives using this sharpener. The instructions are easy to understand. It’s just a 3-step method to sharpen any knife. My knives all now have a perfect 20 degree sharp edge and slice through everything with ease. Highly recommend."

Good sharpener

I love this sharpener. If you use it lightly by gently pulling back the knife on the 3 slots you get a fine sharp edge. You wont take off lots of metal of the edge. No more than a using a steel rod. In fact you dont always need to use all 3 slots. Just a couple of strokes on the fine honing rods (stage 3) is enough to keep the edge on a sharp knife. Only when you have left it to go blunt would you need to use all 3 slots. I recently bought some new knives and this sharpener keeps the same edge on them just like new and with just a few strokes. My previous sharpener gouged out uneven bits of metal on the side of the knife, when you looked closely. It sharpened but ruined and wore down the blade. Hence the new knife set. This is the best sharpener I've ever used.Great product. Remember.. lightly does it.
