Cool Talkies, push to talk

I love this package, boy loves yellow and blue, girls love pink. The children are too young for the cell phone, so it is fun to use the walkie-talkies to talk with other children who are all close neighbors. They work PERFECTLY! The sound quality is as good as a cellular and the range is really amazing. The only question is one talkie needs 4-AAA batteries.

In the modern age of smartphones, we really are spoiled. Trying to get my kids to play with me outside WITHOUT their phones are near impossible. Sometimes you need to get back to basics to have some real fun. I'm talking walkie talkies, the kind I would've killed for as a kid. The ability to talk to another person far away, without a tin can on a string, so cool. As soon as I pulled these out of the box, it was game time. The kids actually left their phones inside when they saw how cool these things are. The buttons are decently intuitive, and the design is simple. Hold down the button on the side to talk, etc. I found the range to be right around what was advertised, and the sound quality is good for the price. I have used some cheap junky walkie talkies before, and these are in a whole other league. Just make sure to pick up a pack of AAA batteries, 4-per walkie talkie, so you don't have to wait to pick em' up and use em.

Works perfectly for long distance!

Good quality walkie talkies. I like it because it comes with 3 walkie talkies. Two for parents and one for the lettle one. My daughter loves the pink one. She uses it a lot when she needs to call her dad who is in the upper stairs for supper . It works well for long distance as well. Will consider to buy again as gift.

Perfect for 1st time adventures!!

My grandson has just reached the age of going outside to explore and play in the backyard by himself. I noticed that when he had friends come over he would venture a little bit more into the trees for their make believe fort. These walkie talkies have added more fun to their adventures and more security for me. I get to have the pink one while the boys play with the others. I can monitor from the house or be part of the games. This was a great buy and would recommend for any adventurers with a bit of woods around them!!!

Excellent Quality

These walkie-talkies are great! I love it that they are easy to use....and that there are 3 of them! The 3-mile distance is really nice so the kids can actually move away from each other and they still work! I would definitely reccomend them!

A surprisingly great quality walkie talkies

To be honest, I was disappointed when I saw the box of this product. It looked kind of cheap. But this was for my daughter. I just took them out and put batteries in. At this point, I made a mistake. It was much easier if you took the belt clip out then put batteries. I turned it on and started to talk to my daughter. I was surprised by how clear the sound was. Not much noise at all. Maybe it was too close. So I gave one walkie talkie to my daughter’s friend who lives next door. And the third one to another friend who lives one block away but at the end of that stress. Now they talk pretty much every day for about an hour. The voice was so clear. The only thing is that you can’t receive signals when you are talking. For kids, it happens a lot. Because they talk too much. They all like this walkie talkie a lot. We are also planning to use them when we go for a multi families vacation. We can communicate among different cars. I am so glad that I brought this product.

Communication with a touch of nostalgia!

My son is too young for a cell phone so I purchased these walkie-talkies for him to use with his best friends who are all close neighbors. They work PERFECTLY! The sound quality is as good as a cellular and the range is really amazing. He speaks to his friends who live 5 and 6 homes away from us. Perfect little investment for your child to keep in touch with his friends! We did the same thing when we were kids in the 80’s!

Pleasantly Surprised

We were actually pleasantly surprised with the sound quality of these walkie-talkies. Very clear. Easy to use. We can’t speak about the durability just yet since we haven’t had them long enough to truly gauge that aspect. Hopefully they hold up well.
