SafeRingz and Lucky Llama sent me an email and asked if I would write a review of this product. They don't know me. I don't know them. They haven't told me what to write and don't know whether I'll give them a good review or a bad one. They only asked for a review. Fair enough. Here it is: I found this product quite by accident. In the past I've worked at jobs where wearing rings was a No-No. Since I retired my hands shrink and swell so much with the seasons I can no longer wear my wedding ring. I saw a young man with a silicone ring and asked where he got it. After a lot of research reading reviews of other products and their product quality (or lack of it), I settled on this for obvious reasons. Not only is their quality better and their guarantee more solid, but the appearance is exceptional -- far better than any competitor. Compared to my gold wedding band, this actually looks brighter. The muted sheen make me think of brushed metal. It reflects light and shapes without giving a mirror image and would compare to semi-gloss. If you need to avoid metal rings for safety reasons, if your hands shrink and/or swell, if you're allergic to gold (yep, some people are, like my first wife), or if you want an inexpensive ring that really looks expensive, you won't find a better one at any price. This is the one for me. You'll probably feel the same.

I have been wearing a tungsten carbide wedding ring for a year and a half before I decided to try this silicon ring. I have to say, that unless I am going somewhere fancy, I will be retiring my tungsten carbide ring. My tungsten carbide ring is a size 10.5 and I ordered the 10-11 size which fits perfectly with a little wiggle room. I was worried about the ring feeling like a tight rubber band which it does not. I bought the platinum colored ring and it actually looks like metal because there is some texturing on the surface of the ring. I am extremely happy with the appearance. I hope this ring is durable enough to last me a while - at a price of $18 for a simple molded silicon part, SafeRingz must have a 1000% profit margin because this probably cost them $0.018 cents to make. If the ring breaks - I will report back and edit this review. Review Update on 1/6/2017 - I have been wearing this ring now for 7 months and it has not broken. Review update on 8/11/2017 - I have been wearing this ring now every day since my last update and it is still going strong. I can't see any signs of color fade or other defects.

We were looking for a silicone ring that looks like a gold band and this one really does!! Great quality and made out of nice material. It's a comfortable fit, not as stiff or thick as other silicone rings. Gold band in photo is size 10.5, Silicone ring in photo is size 9 and fits snugg and comfortable. Great for surfing, climbing and outside activities!

Bought this for my husband who works around allot of heavy machinery, he had to remove his metal ring because he got hooked and just about lost his hand. I was a bit concerned at first when I ordered the gold looking one because I wanted it to look as close to a real ring as possible. When I received it, I was VERY happy with the color! It looks as close to the real thing as you can get. I was also satisfied with the size and shape, as it's not a huge ugly "square-ish" hunk of silicone... it's nicely shaped, thinner band with rounded edges... as close to a metal ring as you can get. I will be ordering another one from this same company, just for a back up, and have already recommended this choice to another friend. I highly recommend this ring for someone looking for a silicone version of the real thing. : )

We both love this ring! It's been a little more than THREE YEARS with this ring and it's still going strong! He's never really taken it off (other than to show others it's not actually metal) and he's not one to be gentle on things either. Not only does he work construction (framer), but he's also an Army Reserves Combat Medic. After a close call with his metal ring catching on a nail at work, I knew I wouldn't be able to live with knowing I was the reason he could have lost a finger and I looked for a safer solution. After a ton of research, I wasn't thrilled with having a ring that just looked cheap and rubbery. I finally came across this company and was surprised to see how much these rings looked like metal. When it came, I was amazed by its quality and how much it looked like metal! I can't believe how many people STILL think it's a metal ring and are totally confused when they see him stretching it and playing around with it. We get questions all the time. I went with a gunmetal gray in size 12.5-13. I would say the only thing that has really changed is the thickness and the luster. But, really that's on him. He has a bad habit of spinning it on his finger against the steering wheel, when he turns. I have to say, I love that this company also supports the military with purchases made. I had no idea at the time of purchase, so that was a nice surprise! Attached photos: both are taken today, April 22, 2019, three plus years later. One was taken with flash, the other without. I wish I had a photo of when we first put it on him.

I had looked for weeks online to find a gold silicone ring. Imagine my surprise when I saw them on Amazon. The fit is a little snug. My husband wears a size ten ring and the 10-10.5 was still real snug. Not too tight that he can't wear it but he had to get used to it. I wear a 6.5 and probably should have gotten the 7-7.5. I order the bigger sizes and keep the snug rings too. I'm real pleased with them both. UPDATE: I did not need the bigger ring size. After a week or more the rings fit perfectly. I'm guessing our body heat stretched the ring to fit correctly.

To be honest, I didn't buy this ring for its safety. I had accidentally flung my ring down the ravine in my back yard while tossing bread crumbs for the birds. I bought this ring as a temporary while my wife and I going ring hunting. However, the ring really does look convincingly like gold (frosted gold) -- so much so that I convinced a co-worker that the gold was so pure, I could bend it with just my fingers (while I slowly squeezed it). He was so convinced, his mouth dropped. After searching the web for other safety rings, I didn't see any others so nearly realistic. What I did see were gruesome photos of finger injuries that it convinced me to continue wearing this ring (at the gym, at sports, hiking, during yard-work and whenever not at a formal occasion). I like the ring so much, I bought another -- for my wife. Now to convince her to marry me again...or to just wear the new ring.

This ring is exactly what my wife and I were looking for. I've lost and replaced three wedding bands. Due to work and weight loss. This ring is safe for work and looks good too. I'm seriously thinking I'll buy more in other colors.

I love the way it fits and the gold color. Very comfortable. In the medical field and it fits nicely under my gloves. I'm not sure how much it will stretch out over time but we will see.

Very nice ring. I had purchased an Enso ring thinking it was going to be the best quality I could get. The Enso ring's cuts were very unclean. Got a replacement which was the same. Gave this brand a try and loved it. Very clean cuts and almost perfect color. I put a comparison picture of this ring next to my gold ring and then the Enso ring on top.
