Great water bottle
Great water bottle. I see water bottles like this everywhere that are $40-50 for the 25oz size and just wasn't able to spend that much on a water bottle. Finally I found this on amazon and I absolutely love it. It keeps my drink cool all day, it's so sleek, and most importantly (for me) it really is 100% leak proof. As long as the top is screwed on obviously, you can fill this to the top and shake it around and it's not going to spill, ever.

True Life: Im addicted to buying water bottles
It started innocuous enough, I watched a youth video outlining some Millennial chick who only made 1 mason jar’s worth of trash a year. So I thought to myself, “I too care about the planet, how can i make a difference while doing the absolute bare minimum as to not inconvenience my busy lifestyle of slaving at work to pay off student loans and tweeting”. As if my mind was read (or probably because Facebook sells my information) i was shown an ad of this bottle. So to the amazon machine I went. Within a few taps I was looking at this beauty. And look, there’s so many colors to choose from so I can match my outfits and (multiple) personalities I pretend to have on social media to seem more interesting. It arrived and of course the FIRST thing I did was post a photo on Instagram w/ a caption of “Water = Life” or something equally stupid. Anyway I love this bottle. At least I thought I did until I bought the Ascent* (I think that’s what it’s called. Reason being is the kid is WAAAAAAY easier to clean than the wave as it’s one piece of solid plastic. Pros Keeps water cold or hot for crazy long time (like I left it in a hot car for 5 hours and the ice cubes didn’t melt) No condensation - shout out to that vacuum sealing copper lined space age bottle witchcraft that keeps the bottle from getting condensation on the outside. The Ascent (not wave) has a handle so its easier to carry. Like a lot easier. Cons - the Wave’s cap is hella difficult to clean. Do not submerge the cap in water, I did this and water got trapped on the inside of it. I couldn’t get it out and I didn’t want it leaking in my water so I got a new one. Great product and you should definitely get one, or 5. :) PSA - you should be washing your water bottles daily or at the very least every couple days and let it dry completely between uses. Seriously. They can be a breeding ground for bacteria. I wash mine daily and rinse w/ 1part water to 1 part vinegar then air dry overnight. Remove the rubber ring and wash the caps too!!!!

Cold water hours and hours later
I LOVE this water bottle. I am a complete water bottle snob. I have in the past only purchased glass bottles because I could taste the metallic aftertaste of steel bottles and that disgusting plastic taste of the plastic ones. I bit the bullet on this one because I needed something lighter to take on hikes and to travel with (my glass bottles were too large to fit into the side pockets of my little bike backpack that I use all the time). I bought this right before a trip to Israel, where I spent half of it in the desert. I read all the reviews about how cool it kept water and for so long, and took the leap. Visually I love the bottle. It's a beautiful bottle and I get many compliments on it. It has scratched off at the bottom where my metal water bottle holder on my bike has scratched against it. I still think it's durable as it got no scratches before that, and shoving it into metal that grinds against it really isn't fair to the bottle. Best of all, it really works. Even after hours in direct sunlight, I could open it up and enjoy beautifully cold, refreshing water -- even without ice put in it. It has incredible insulation. I bought two thermaflasks from Costco that claimed similar properties and don't think they do nearly as good a job as this. I keep thinking it is pretty lame to gift people water bottles, but I'm so tempted to make this my go-to gift for people for Christmas this year. I've not tried anything hot in it, but I'm confident it would do equally well in maintaining temperature on the other end of the spectrum. My only complaint is it doesn't seem quite watertight. Sometimes when it gets tipped upside down, especially when I've just filled it, I find water has leaked out of it. Just in small amounts, but it makes me think perhaps my lid is defective. Either way, I wouldn't let that deter me from purchasing another. I like the smaller 17oz size, but I could see the appeal in a bigger bottle as well, especially if you are planning to do a lot of exercise without a readily available water source nearby.

Love this bottle
I really like how big this bottle is (I got the 36oz) and the quality. It's hard to grip sometimes since its slippery. There's no traction on the bottle, but the best place to hold is at the neck. There's a plastic ring inside that comes out easily for washing. I like how this bottle doesn't have a plastic spout that is impossible to wash. When looking for this bottle, I was looking for something that was easily cleaned and something sleek. It's perfect. It is handwash only, but too big to fit into the dishwasher any way.

Finally a bottle that fits in my car's cup holder
The cup holder in my car can only hold a bottle that has the same diameter as a 12oz/355ml soft drink can, but most bottles I tried were larger than this. The 9oz Simple Modern bottle is advertised as being 2.5 inches in diameter and does indeed fit, however it is actually 2.64 inches in diameter. The bottle has kept cold water cold while it sits in my car for several hours on a 90F day and no condensation forms on the outside of the bottle. The only gripe I have is that 9oz is a little on the small side and I end up finishing it after taking a couple of mouthfuls of water. Would prefer to have the 17oz bottle, but I doubt it will fit in my cup holder, especially if the listed measurement is not accurate as well.

I LOVE IT!!!
I ordered this bottle because I had ordered a S'well bottle for my son that was a Prime item but was "lost in transit" for a week. I didn't want to spend another $35 on a S'well so while the S'well was lost, I ordered the blue Simply Modern in case my son had to use it But as I looked online at differences between the 2 brands, I saw many people complaining that the S'wells they were receiving weren't legitimate S'well bottles. The Simply Modern bottles actually had better reviews & cost a lot less than S'well! When my sons bottle finally came, I compared the two bottles. I boiled water, filled each bottle & checked the start temperature. Each was at 190 degrees. After 3 hours, I checked the temperature again & saw they dropped a few degrees. After 6 hours, they dropped a little more but the Simply Modern bottle stayed at the exact same temperature as the S'well! I am thrilled with this bottle!! I do mainly use it for cold drinks & it does a fantastic job keeping my drinks cold! I love that I can keep the bottle in my car while I shop & come out to a cold drink even hours later. As I usually fill it with iced tea, if after a day I didn't finish it & see it is getting a little warm, I throw 3 pieces of ice in it & it stays cold for the day again!! I would definitely recommend the Simply Modern bottles. My only regret with this is I didn't get the larger bottle. I might just order one anyway for when I go to the beach!!

The Simple Modern bottle is similar to other brand designs but better because this one is really lightweight compared to other ...
I wanted a small water bottler that could fit in most of my purses. After buying a similar, more expensive, brand in the 17 oz I knew I wanted a double wall bottle so it wouldn't sweat. But I had a hard time finding one in a smaller size at a reasonable price. Then I found this one. The Simple Modern bottle is similar to other brand designs but better because this one is really lightweight compared to other bottles I checked out in comparable sizes. The lid is secure and the double wall means it keeps water cold and doesn't sweat on any of my stuff. I also love the variety of colors. I got the Primrose Marble and it's even prettier in person.

Keeps water ice cold all day!
These bottles keep water ice cold for hours! I filled mine in the morning and the water was still really cold in the evening. I recently took it to a theme park in my purse, and even walking around all day in 85 degrees, the water was always cold when I took a sip. And no moisture collected on the outside of the bottle AT ALL, which was extremely important to me, since I'll usually be putting the bottle inside my purse. They seem to be extremely sturdy and well made, close tightly, and are really nice looking in person. I honestly can't think of any way they could be improved. For anyone wondering, the 9oz bottle is almost exactly the size of a standard 16.9oz plastic water bottle. Just be aware that it only holds half the water, because the sides are so thick.

Love the colors, put this to the test
I live in AZ and I bought these in several colors. When I received them, they seemed to work great but I wanted to put them to the test. So on the day the temperature was going to be 119 degrees, I took cold water and filled the bottle. I did not add any ice when I filled it. I put it in the car at about 9:00 am and left it in the car all day, some hours having the car parked in a non-air conditioned garage with all the windows closed. At 5:00 pm, we left to run an errand in the car. I took a sip from the bottle, and even though the bottle was extremely hot to the touch, the water inside of the bottle was as cold as it went into the bottle. I actually did a Facebook demonstration and measured the results with a thermometer. If this doesn’t convince you to try this, I don’t know what will. I highly recommend it, and in AZ it’s a Godsend to be able to use this in the car. The bottle also cools off quick when you turn on the air conditioning. My only critique is that I wish the 17 oz size was an 18 oz. size because the lid sits deep in the bottle and when I pour in a bottle of water, there’s an ounce left in the bottle that I can’t pour into this container. Try it, you’ll love it, and it works as well for hot drinks.

Great bottle - 9 oz also great for awkward size cup holders!
I bought the 9 oz wave bottle and LOVE this product. Keeps my water fresh and cool lasting for hours, better than Tervis or other plastics I've used, and I'm happier with the metal from an environmental/leeching plastics issue especially in the heat of summer. I particularly love the 9 oz size because I like keeping water in my car at all times (I suffer from prescription-medication-induced dry mouth) and I have a Nissan Juke where the cup holders in the doors are an awkward smallish size that don't readily fit taller things (even a 16 oz Tervis was a poor fit) but they fit cans (which don't re-close) and this 9 oz bottle by Simple Modern wonderfully. Fantastic find, great quality - I love this turquoise/ocean design because I swear it makes the water seem more refreshing (mental foolery I know, but hey whatever works!). Recommended! Picture shows proximity versus a standard small rectangle facial tissue box so you can see the size relativity.
