The non-stick coating a new and great technology! It solved the sticky pot problem. It will not be harmful to the body, it's not absorbed by the body. I bought this for my wife to help in the kitchen and she absolutely loves it! She’s used it every day, pot roasts, bbq chicken, rice, mashed potatoes and especially for canning. Overall a great purchase and easy to use and clean!

a healthier choice for you

These Instant pot cookers are really an amazing thing to have if you don't have time to make meals. I have found that it is extremely easy to use and cooks the food evenly. It's especially helpful if you spent a long day at work and you get home or you just want have some food ready for you in your crockpot. I've also found that it makes making healthier meals a lot more doable and easier in terms of like steaming vegetables. So I do think it will be a healthier choice to go with this crockpot if that something you've been thinking about.

The 8qt oval pot has handles, it's a great design! The first meal we tried was a mixed dry bean and ham soup. In just a little over an hour, we had a delicious meal without having to wait for beans to soak. The multi pot is so easy to use and clean and adds so much fun to our kitchen.

Works as described

Works as described. I'll put Quinoa in the bottom with salmon and veggies on the steamer tray. I use the rice feature and within minutes dinner is ready. U can literally throw everything in the pot and cook. it's pretty easy to figure out. It's also very easy to clean.

I'm so happy with this product.

I never thought I would use one of these, but I love it. Today in preparing for a BBQ, I used the Instant Pot to boil potatoes for potato salad, hard boiled 8 eggs, cooked ribs and made corn on the cob. I always brown meat before braising or stewing, so I love this feature. I've used it for pot roasts, short ribs, pasta casseroles, whole chicken, and many other dishes. I found a good cookbook and checked out the many YouTube videos out there to get started. I'm so happy with this product.

Pressure cookers have become really popular. They provide a different flavor profile while cooking quickly, than a microwave. They are also significantly faster than a slow cooker. The recommend this for things like beans that wouldn't spoil. There is also a keep warm feature. You can also brown in this, which is nice so you don't have to dirty something else. Instructions are included to do canning and cooking white rice.

It looks great in my kitchen

It looks great in my kitchen, It works well, I will adjust the cooking time based on the food because sometimes I will cook more food or less food, the default time is not suitable. However, it comes out great! The lid is convenient to close and open. The inner pot is nonstick and AMAZING built-in handles in both sides, COOL design! NOTE: DON'T USE A METAL SPOON TO SERVE FOOD, DON'T WASH IT WITH METAL BRUSH !

I love the oval 8qt pot

This multi-function pressure cooker is great! So easy to use and cleanup. I Cooked a 4 lbs boneless pork loin fork tender in 46 minutes. I love that I can make a good meal in a short time. Also, stainless steel pot cleans up so easily. And I love the inner pot with handle, very great design!

works perfectly

First time ever purchasing and after reading about other brands, I chose Geek Chef! I'm so happy I did. I have made beef stew in it, corn beef and cabbage, rice, oatmeal and several other things. They have all come out tasting wonderful. It's easy to take out the inner pot, due to the great design of the handles. And the pot is easy cleanup with a cloth.

Awesome invention of this 8QT OVAL pressure cooker. My wife has cooked in a stove top pressure cooker for years. This pressure cooker is the best. We have used it to cook several meals. Being from Louisiana, we like our food seasoned and because the food is cooked under pressure the seasoning is infused into whatever one may be cooking.
