Chef used

I bought this for my wife about a month ago. She is a chef by trade, as soon as she got it she took it to work and has since fell in love with it. She said it works great and that all her coworkers also really enjoy using it. So it is now the designated kitchen sharpening stone at her work place.

As Expected

I took 4 swipes on both sided of a dull blade and what an edge. Really sharp in no time.

It usually takes me 15-20 minutes to sharpen with a water stone, and then time in between flattening the stone itself. With this diamond stone the process is about 5 minutes. It’s big enough to sharpen my plane irons and larger chisels, which is nice.

Fantastic sharpening stone

Used this diamond stone to sharpen my father’s chisels. I don’t think they were ever sharpened, they were sitting in his tool box for over 25 years. I used these stones to put a razor sharp edge on them. Very easy to use. Couldn’t be more happy with them.

Great product at a great price!!!

I'm a woodworker and use this to sharpen plane irons and chisels. This stone is great. It's a solid piece of steel. Made from monocrystalline diamonds electroplated to the steel, the same method used by companies that charge 3x as much for there products. The base holds the plate securely and makes sharpening and easy and quick process. I'm more than happy and would highly recommend Schaaf Tools.

Great diamond sharpening stone

First I want to thank you. I just received the diamond sharpening stone you offer and I love it. I have been wood carving for about two years and have been looking for a reasonably priced sharpening system. I tried cheap stones, sand paper and small diamond mesh sharpeners. I was never able to get my knives as sharp as I thought they should be. Your diamond stone is the solution I have been looking for. First time I have been able to shave hair with my knives.
