My axolotls laid eggs, I put the eggs in here, they hatched and this thing is keeping them safe from the adults who might eat them. Would recommend.

Most Excellent Product!!!

This product is excellent, works fabulously. To start its Acrylic won't effect your tank, there is a divider to create two sections so you can have two adults in it. There is a grate that sits about an inch above the bottom of the box. This grate allows for fry to stay at the bottom and away from any adult fish until you are able to remove the adult from the breeder. Once you remove the adult fish, everything is removable(the divider and the grate), so your fry have a decent amount of room to swim. I can't imagine fry escaping the box because the slots that let in water are so incredibly tiny. Fits nicely in a size 10 gallon tank. Absolutely would recommend for a Breeding Box, Isolation Box, Aquarium Acclimation Box, Hatchery Incubation Box. Two thumbs up.

Get the medium. Sturdier quality than most.

I feel like this breeder box is sturdier than some others that I've used. I got the medium and it's mostly the width of a 10 gallon tank. So it's a good size. Super small fry could potentially slip out the sides, so a little mesh reinforcement would be good.

This is well built, and a great tool for most breeders.

I gave this item 5 stars, but when I submit it, the stars go away. I’m not sure why. This is great for spawning fish.
