Very comfortable. Wore shoes once before taking them to Disney World and without my Dr Scholl’s inserts. Still very comfortable and I have really sensitive feet. Ordered my usual New Balance shoe size 8 1/2 and size 9 as a back up. My regular size fit best. The toe was at the very end of the shoe on the 8 1/2 but the 9 was way too big. The shoe stretched a little and now I have more room in the toe bed. Highly recommend!

This is my 2nd pair because of the wide toe box and rigid sole. I normally wear 7B but these run short and narrow so 7.5 C/D (wide) fit perfectly. I swap out the insole with Pinnacle Pro Plus for better arch support. There are a couple extra holes for the laces which is a nice option. Great shoes for walking distances. I don't wear heavy socks but I think I'd need an 8 to accomodate them if I did. Great price too.

I found out I had arthritis, bone spurs, and boney growths on my foot. I was in so much pain standing for even an hour. My podiatrist recommended New Balance shoes. It was hard to find wide width at the store so I grudgingly came on here thinking I would never like something I didn't try on in a store. I was so wrong these are the best shoes I have ever had on my feet. My podiatrist checked my foot a month later and noticed how all the tendons had loosened up. I never thought one shoe could make such a difference, but it has! I totally recommend getting a pair if you have any foot pain.

Like the fit, true to size and it also has a roomy toebox.

This is my second pair of this exact shoe. It is usually a very good price, I think because this is not a popular color. I wear one pair to walk in daily and wear the other pair with jeans. I have a toe problem that requires shoes with plenty of toe room. Sometimes I have to buy wide width shoes to accommodate this problem, but in this model of New Balance the medium width is perfect. I notice that some of New Balance newer models have the flat less roomy type toe. I will not be buying those.

I have worn these shoes for a couple of months now, to run trails that are pockmarked with gopher and wild pig digs, weeds, hills, rises, canyons, clay and mud. I find these shoes rugged with thick firm soles and are as advertised. The newer 'running' shoes were getting to be a joke, I purchased two brands including New Balance, both had thinner soles, narrow tongues and poor collar and other padding, when compared with the older versions that were no longer available. These trail shoes did take some getting used to, might have even felt a little stiff but after a few times out on the trails they are fine. I bought and am very pleased with my regular size of 8W. I still wear my old worn out ones for regular jogging, I use the new lightweight 'running' shoes to shop! I am pleased to wear these New Balance trail shoes when the going is really rough!

Working on my feet is torture when you're wearing poor quality shoes. I bought these in hopes that I would find relief. The first hour at work I noticed no heel pain, that's usually where it starts for me. By the end of my shift I can say my feet still hurt but not nearly to the extent they usually are. You know that pain, when you sit down for awhile then get up and your feet are on fire! None of that.

I loved these shoes!! Great cushioning and support. I have flat, wide feet and these are still comfortable. They have great bottom grip and are excellent for working out. The color is softer than the pics so no fusia peach!! Would buy again!

This is my second purchase of New Balance shoes because of the quality and fit. Reviewers felt that this particular model ran a little narrow, which was perfect for my needs because a medium width is usually a bit too wide for me; this shoe, however, could not be more comfortable. Since it is entirely black, it looks a little dressier than the other style I had which was more casual. My first pair is now over eight years old, and I feel I'll be wearing the new shoes at least as long. Great value at a great price!

New Balance seems to fit my foot the best, although I do go up 1/2 size for comfort in the toe region for hiking. These grip well, and no slipping! Very light weight, highly recommended.
