These double burners and the frame they sit within are very sturdy.The small feet raise it as well as make it sit level.I put mine on a wooden cutting board to further insulate the countertop.Burners are Plenty hot,so pay attention!Residual heat lasts quite some time so plan accordingly,and the casement gets hot too.Unplug after use for safety.Burners and metal casement wipe clean very easily.This sturdy setup is doing a great job subbing for two broken stovetop elements that cost more to replace than the worth of aged oven.
