Once you are past the setup, it's a good device

It would help if the company let you know that you don't have to run their driver disk for Win10. The speed of my connection is greatly improved. It's not honest to bribe buyers for a positive review by offering a 'free' 64gb flash drive, with screenshot proof of said review. I won't be participating in that. I don't know why the manufacturer felt compelled to do it, since they are selling a good product that can stand on its own merits.

Simply plug and play on windows 10 pc. I will be getting more for other pc's in the house!

This works great!!!

I ordered this to replace another USB adapter I have on a PC in the back of my house which is a good distance from my router. The adapter I had worked fine but started dropping the connection all the time. This became extremely annoying. This adapter was just what I needed. It installed super easy and was up an running in minutes. Again this is installed on a machine a good distance from the router with several walls in between but the speeds I get on this thing is outstanding. I normally top out on other devices around 75mbps but was getting upwards of 135mbps on this adapter even being the furthest away from the router. I would highly recommend this one, especially at this low price. Money well spent!!!!!!

CHECK WINDOWS VERSION BEFORE DRIVER INSTALLATION

IMPORTANT NOTE: If you dont have a disk drive and have to install the drivers through the dropbox link, make sure to check that if you have Windows 10, you dont need to install the drivers. Would have been nice if that was included in the instructions. With that being said, this has been so simple to use, just plug and play. Getting great speeds from the 5Ghz band, and love this product so far

I am impressed with the speed increase in my internet connection!

This is a replacement for a netgear USB dual band WiFi adapter I was using to connect my laptop to the 5 GHz band, which was not supported by the internal network card. After researching value and connection speeds, I bought this Techkey adapter, and did not even need the CD to install the driver. In Windows 10 Home, and already connected to the internet with the internal networking, I was able to update the driver in device manager, and my connection speed has tripled! It has increased from 3-4 Mbps to 12-13 Mbps download speed. So far, so good! I will revise this 5 star rating if any thing changes.

Really Good Wireless Device for the price

I have been looking for a decent network device for my PC. I ordered another brand that was a PCIE card that claimed to reach speeds of 1300mbps and I promptly returned it when it didn't get over 215mbps. I purchased this USB WiFi adapter and couldn't be happier. I installed it in minutes, costs half of what I paid for the other device and I am 600mbps consistently. I would absolutely recommend this product.

Great WiFi Adapter

Was using a power line adapter for a computer on another level of my home. Got a speed of 50.9 mbps on a internet account rated at 400 mbps that I normally get 480 mbps on Ethernet connection. Connected this WiFi adapter and receive 468.80. Great WiFI Adapter

Great WiFi Adapter

This WiFi adapter was a breeze to install. I was doing a complete computer build and plugged it in when windows 10 was installing. As soon as I got to the point that I was asked to connect to a network to start windows updates, it recognized the device. Once everything was installed I was unhappy when I ran an internet speed test and saw that I was only getting 40 mb/s download when i pay for Gig internet through AT&T Fiber. That being said, when I installed the actual driver for the device that came in the package in the form of a mini disc then ran the speed test once more and saw 700 mb/s download. very impressed with this product and would highly recommend to anyone looking to make their desktop a wireless beast!

Works great, easy to setup, good price.

Installation took about 5 minutes, or less. It works great. It also comes with a cable and a small stand, so the actual antennae can be a couple of feet away, in case you don't want (or can't) have the antennae coming out where the USB port is. I have a tower workstation that I wanted to run off wireless, and now I can. Speed is fine, too. No slow down.

Goodbye to the wire

Excellent Product, I have a desktop PC with Windows 10, I just need to connect it to USB 3.0 and in less than 10 seconds I was already working with WIFI. Very fast connection and high performance in file transfer. I recommend it.
