The place where I live does not get a best TV signal. I tested that, I tried one indoor antenna and it's not working very well, due to pixelization and just poor quality signal. If I am lucky, and the weather is right I would get 2-3 channels in so-so quality. So, quite frankly I kind of started to feel desperate. I decided to try this one as a replacement. This comes pre-assembled which is quite nice feature. As I already had some wiring done in anticipation, I got it done pretty quickly, same day. I bought some cable, but what I pity, I spent my money and this comes WITH 12m of cable included! Well, what can you do... Anyways, I have been testing it for about 4 days now. Right off the bat I got 8 channels! 3 of these are finicky - I really have to manipulate the antenna with the remote control to get the signal right. It's not a deal breaker, this feature is great and it allows me to play without leaving the house. Overall, I am very satisfied with this quite inexpensive and robust piece of equipment. I have a free dependable TV service now and will be saving approximately $400 per year, which is nice. I mean, this antenna cost me approximately $40, which is 1 month worth of cable. Thanks for reading! PS. Make sure you have a good sturdy pole so the thing is not flying on the wind. I have mine about 15 feet high and is supported by 3 strings. Good luck!

I wasn't expecting much based on geographically where I live, but it worked fantastically. I haven't yet bought a mounting pole for this antenna -- and I may not need one, the signal is great just laying on the floor in my home. Aesthetically I plan to relocate this to an out-of-sight but still good reception location. Very impressed with this product. I also really love the status indicators to share if the powered antenna is on or off. Things to note: 1) No batteries are included to change the antenna direction 2) No mounting pole (which is probably a good thing because you may need a different mount depending on how you want it mounted to your home, fence, etc.

I wanted a nice way to hold this thin antenna up on top of a cabinet, and this worked perfectly. I didn't need to stick/tape the feet down for it to stand up, the feet worked just fine as is. The antenna I'm using with this is the HDTV Antenna, 1byone Indoor Amplified TV Antenna 50 Mile Range with Creative Adjustable Amplifier Booster, USB Power Supply and Longer 20FT High Performance Coaxial Cable-Shiny White Antenna

This stand is so much better than the other one they sell. It is so much more sturdier and better made. No small, flimsy peg pieces to break and seems to be anchored enough not to tip over all the time like the other style. Was very very easy to put together, just slip the two pieces of the stand into each other and done. No small pegs to wrestle with trying to snap in to the bottom of the stand. Should have gone with this style to begin with. Don't waste your money on the other style they offer get this one instead.:

I am so excited about this product. I literally allowed me to not screw my walls up by gluing a big ugly antenna to it. Noooooo more cable bills. Eat that, Comcast! When I watch football I move it closer to the window for best reception and for the local news (my pre-sleep nap) I set it declaratively on my entertainment set. This handy-dandy stand allowed me this flexibility. Cheers to you, 1byone.

This stand seems nice and sturdy but the antenna itself is so thin I was able to hang it in the window with double sided tape behind the blind. I have the stand in a drawer in case I want to move the antenna in the future. As i said, it's nice and wasn't expensive so I thought it best to keep it in case I need it in the future.

I bought these antennas to cut cable costs for 2 seldom watched tv's in guest rooms. Work just fine but sometimes I have to adjust slightly so I also bought the stands. I get lots of stations in the Northwest Valley, Az area and they are very clear.

I live towards the low side of a hill so there are problems for years getting good TV reception ever since digital took over. I mounted the antenna temporarily to test and surprisingly got 40 plus channels and these channels so far are very stable. I may try to mount it higher next time, but now I'm satisfied.

Very good product. Easy to set up. It comes with a 20 foot cable, which is very convenient - I ordered the optional $5 stand and put it out of sight on top of a tall bookcase some distance from the tv. Many of the stations in my area are on two mountains that are 30+ miles from me. The two mountains are in different directions, and I get good signals from both of them, as well as from others. I get every station that antennaweb.org predicts I should be able to receive in my location for a 'yellow' class of antenna. Much better performance than I expected from an inexpensive indoor antenna.

After looking for ways to cut the cord for quite a while and being unwilling to put up an antenna outdoors, I was excited to see that I might be able to use an indoor antenna. I ordered this, not entirely sure it would work very well, and was extremely surprised that I got about 50 channels - all for free. We have since narrowed that down primarily to our local broadcast stations, most of which are 30 to 40 miles away. I was also very pleased at how easy it was to set up and am kicking myself for not getting this much sooner. I am an unbiased reviewer and would recommend this to anyone looking for an inexpensive way to get local channels without an outside antenna. Eric
