Wow!! It worked.

I wasn't able to use it as intended and I'm not certain that it didn't just compact the hair past the trap. Since I couldn't get the drain cover off without a plumber, I pushed the orange thing down the side of the drain. It got stuck it took a lot of effort to get it out. After I finally got it out I found teeth were missing and the water didn't drain at all. This morning the water had finally drained and I decided to brush my teeth. There was a sudden noise and the water swirled out of the sink. I haven't seen a swirl in so long, I'd forgotten that the bathroom sink could swirl. I just hope that the clog of hair hasn't gone someplace further down the line lying in wait for a later day. At least my drain drains and I am happy today.

Must have tool

Must have tool... Secret to using this turn the water on while you are using it and the crap will go down the drain before the sink gets all dirty with scum you pull out of the clogged drain... Yes I would buy this product again...

Works as advertised.

Literally just received this pack within the last 15 minutes, and the snakes saved me a call to the plumber. I'm a hairy guy, beard and all - and despite my best attempts to keep my fur out of the drains, they were all clogged. Bathroom sink and tub drained like molasses. Fed the orange snake down the sink drain and wow (!) the amount of hair and gunk that came up was scary; same for the tub. Needless to say, they both work fine now, I am happy and no plumbers were disturbed. As for the grabby pincher thingy, I don't know, looks kinda flimsy, but I'll try it out. Anything changes, I'll post it here.

You Don’t Want to Know What’s in Your Drain

We struggled with our bath tub and our bathroom sink co Stanton getting backed up. We’d plunge. We used all kinds of chemicals. Boiling hot water. Vinegar and baking soda - nothing helped. I was skeptical when these came as they are long pieces of plastic with big thorns (can’t think of a better word lol) and I doubted they’d work. OMG. After one use and my husband pulled the snake out of the drain, ,out came the biggest longest mess of grossness and the water instantly drained. So if you have pets, long hair, or just clogged drains - these will work!!! Once in awhile we have to do it again but it’s always lots of hair - my hair falls out in clumps and our dogs shed badly - and it immediately works.

Every person with long hair should own this!

So easy to use. I used it twice and it completely cleared my bathroom sink. I wish I'd bought this sooner.

Excellent product

I was so thrilled when the drain snake arrived. I have long hair and hate the idea of putting chemicals down the drain. I won't tell you how gross the stuff the snake pulled out was. The snake was all that and more. It took a couple of times as I am not coordinated but on the third try I was pulling hair like a pro. Great bang for the buck!! I have not used the orange augers as of yet but have high hopes.

No more icky standing water!

These are life savers! Money savers and sanity savers! I have a household of girls with long hair. I was always pouring draino down the drain for it to work for a one time shower! It might as well have been my money I was pouring! I got these little lifesavers read the directions and viola it’s draining like new! I would recommend using gardening gloves. The briars that grab all that hair and ickyness hurt a little when I tried to direct the snake. I gotta tell you to me this was worth it. I could not be happier😊

Impressive, better than a coat hanger

The barbs are a bit sharp, but are necessary. luckily, it fits a small sink drain w/plunger from the 80's. Haven't used the metal part yet, but the plastic piece worked great. reaches farther than the coat hanger did. Very Happy.

Hair remover worth every penny

Not sure what the claw is for, but whatever. The hair puller outers worked like a charm. My daughter has A LOT of hair and completely clogged the bathtub. This got all that hair out lickity split.

Sink draining like new in two minutes!

I ordered these "orange zip ties" (as friends refer to them) because my bathroom sink was draining slowly and because I won't put harsh chemicals in my high altitude septic system. It would have taken thirty seconds, but there were no instructions with the package so I had to open up the Amazon reviews for ideas. I lifted the stopper out, ran a zip tie down the drain, gave it a couple of pumps, and pulled it out. Maybe I got lucky and the zip tie pushed the plug through the P-Trap, but one go-round was all it took. Cleaning up after myself and running hot soapy water through the drain took way more time than the actual project. Summary: Ten bucks and two minutes turned my sluggish sink into brand new!
