Disappointed that I didn't buy this antenna sooner
I’ve spent the last 15 years trying to find a good OTA antenna. For 2 years we lived in an apartment next to a busy road. I tried 2 different set top antennas with digital amplifiers during those 2 years. No luck with a good signal. One of them even cut out every time a car drove by the apartment. For the last 8 years in our current house, I’ve tried a set top antenna in a vaulted living room. It has rabbit ears, a digital amplifier, and an fine tune adjustment knob. The antenna works okay on specific channels when the fine tune adjustment knob is perfect, but it never provides a 100% signal. Lower channels need the adjustment knob different than the higher channels. The signal always cut in and out, especially during a show we’d be watching. During the World Series, I got fed up with the signal cutting in and out. I researched antennas for quite a while before pulling the trigger on this outantenna. The antenna shipped in its own box. There was zero padding inside the box, but didn’t really need to be. The antenna is built rugged. Preparation was simple. I ended up installing the antenna on a plant shelf in our bedroom where it would be out of sight when guests come over. I aimed it towards the mountainside where all the broadcast towers are (I’m about 25 miles away). The bedroom is next to the Living Room and on the same wall that the TV is on. I ran the coax cable (not included) down the wall into the crawl space, and then back through the floor behind the entertainment center. I hooked the coax up to the TV, and ran the auto channel scan. It found 58 digital channels. I don’t recall how many I had before. NBC, ABC, CBS, and FOX are the ones we primarily watch. I was amazed at the outcome. 100% signal on almost every single channel (TV has a signal meter). The only channels below 100% were the high (30-1 through 51-1) channels, that I don’t watch anyways. Since the installation, the channels we’ve watched have been 100% signal 100% of the time we’ve been watching. I’m disappointed that I didn’t buy this antenna sooner. I was fine with this, most cables included with antennas are horrible quality. I purchased a high quality Made in USA coax cable. I can’t say enough about this antenna. A true 5-stars. For anyone wanting to cut the cord, this antenna is the answer. Don’t waste time on less expensive antennas.

Works perfectly
If you are looking for the best HDTV Outdoor Antenna, then look no further. Everything needed for the install is included for one low price. The installation and assembly are easy and straightforward. I was able to mount the antenna on my roof in under 10 minutes. The entire process from unboxing to watching crystal clear HD channels for free was less than 30 minutes. Another great feature of this antenna is its ability to supply a signal to two televisions without the need for a splitter. That really comes in handy and makes the installation cleaner and easier. The range specifications state that it has a 150-mile range and I can attest to it being able to receive stations 70 miles away effortlessly. To recap, you are getting crystal clear HD reception, ease of use and installation, high quality, and affordability. The antenna was cheap enough that perhaps a spare should be purchased in case of wind/hail damage. The control box/remote will rotate the antenna, but there's no way to tell which way its pointed without going outside to look at it. Perhaps more expensive kits have more user-friendly and useful control boxes. Because rotating is cumbersome, I'll probably use this one as a fixed antenna get another fixed position antenna to point in another direction to get a couple of local PBS stations, and then join them both just before the splitter. In my opinion, you cannot find a better antenna, even if you do spend more. I highly recommend this HDTV Amplified Outdoor Antenna to anyone looking to cut the cord without sacrificing your entertainment.

I get clear stations now!
I’m happy with this powerful antenna. It works very well in rural area and can get 50 channels very clearly. Easy installation and can be indoor or outdoor. I highly recommend this antenna. Goodbye expensive cable/DirecTV/Dish!

Beyond expectations
Recently purchased HDTV Amplified Digital Antenna from Amazon. The huge roof-top antenna I was using to get my TV stations over the air was finally destroyed by a storm. After reading numerous reviews on this antenna I decided to give it a try. I received the unit 3 days after placing my order and everything was in the box as expected. I removed it from the package and had it together very quickly. After doing a little research on the direction of most transmit ion towers I put the antenna up and using a compass pointed it toward where I thought I'd have the best chance of getting reception. During assembly, which was very easy. A lot of plastic, but resulting piece felt very sturdy. I liked snapping this together. I live in an area where the online signal strength maps were not encouraging but despite that I'm getting 60 channels, most of them with better resolution than through cable. Really wish there was a direction indicator, because it's trial and error, price makes up for this. I later turned the rotor about 90 degrees in each direction from the original setting and I took images of aiming and noted channels available. I'm over 70 miles from most signal towers yet receive 69 channels. I now get 10 more channels than I did with the massive antenna I used to have. I did have some issue with the remote connection to TV, but the seller is super responsive and gave me quick answer. I am very happy with my purchase and will be buying another for my other home. Thanks for such a great product!

Easy to install and great range
Goes together easily but you do need to look at the diagrams to see what plugs into what. I first test tried it indoors which didn¡¯t work well. Decided test on the outside deck. Wow! My automatic network channel finder picked up more broadcast channels (a lot more) than any of my previous antennas. I have no problem receiving over 67 digital channels (number includes 'subchannels') with great quality. I live in the beach area which is much lower than the surrounding landscape. Hills and buildings between me and the multi location broadcast towers. I mounted this in my attic. The control box includes a power supply to the amplifier in the antenna and a second output which I ran to my bedroom TV. Both main and bedroom TVs seem to have the same signal quality. While in my area almost all broadcast antennas are in the same direction there are a few about 90 degrees southwest of me so having the rotation capability allows me to improve the signal when watching those channels. It would be nice to have either an indicator of relative direction or memory for a few settings, but this is not a big issue when I only have one main direction to point to most of the time. I¡¯ve always had to rotate the antenna to pickup various channels. Not so with this antenna. No more pixelation or sound distortion. All I can say is that it works. The motor and remote control is really cheeply made. This unit does seem to be a bit flimsy but I expect it to hold up well in the attic. I doubt it would last more than a few years exposed to the elements.

Works Well
I have only been using the Bluetooth option to FM transmitter so far. Some owners have complained about static noise but I did not experience anything noticeable. The volume level is somewhat low even with the transmitter and phone volumes turned all the way up but this could be due to a lack of a preamp device on the transmitter - that is to say, for the same volume, a direct input from a radio station or CD is louder. This can obviously be overcome by increasing the volume of the radio. I do not have my volumes over the top so I have not experienced any distortion or noticeable static noise. Device pairing is seamless. Will update further once other features have been explored.

I get the channels that wanted
I installed the antenna in my attic and I am able to pick up about 60-100 miles away, which is great. I live in the country far from any big town or city so I knew getting heaps of channels was out of the question, but I got all the basic"local" channels which is what I was hoping for. These are a few web site that will show you where to point your antenna to get the best reception and I did that and the channels come in very clear.

Basic cable without the bill
We live on the floor of a narrow rural valley, about forty miles from the signal. This antenna picks up thirty-eight channels without having to use the directional motor at all. I put it up on a fourteen foot pole and then pointed it at where the city ought to be. After scanning, all of the channels showed up, many in 1080p HD. The channel line up is sufficient for local news, the major networks, and all of the oldies entertainment I can stand. You don't get extended basic but I think this basic cable channels are all there. Between these and my Prime video I got plenty of stuff to watch. It came in two days and was really easy to put together.

The components seem to be on the "fragile" side
My only concern at the moment is the longevity of the equipment and antenna. The components seem to be on the "fragile" side since they are mostly plastic and therefore susceptible to damage by high winds, hail, and extended exposure to the sun. It is of interest to note that the power supply (used to power the antenna rotation) must remain on at all times to maintain reception. Apparently there is some degree of amplification associated with it. Additionally, the system cannot be used with a coax signal "splitter" that is frequently installed with other signal suppliers.

Find that good direction to point
Very easy to set up, took me a long time to install because I wanted it to come in from outside the house in the box our internet comes in from. Had trouble telling which coax inside the house box went to which room, until I realized the light on the antenna turns on when it is hooked up to the amplifier and powered on. I picked up 15 HD channels from local without the amplifier hooked up. So I can only imagine the difference with the power on. Found a site on the net that gave a direction with close to 100 stations roughly at 80 to 90 miles. going to try to find that direction to point.
