I read thru the reviews but here is something that i did not find a lot of info on that is a HUGE pro for me. The media player that is built in plays multiple video formats including AVI, MKV and MP4. It also plays music, pictures and texts. The stand assembled no problem. The only thing with the stand is it is on an angle but still works fine or you can drill new holes for a straight forward alignment. The quality of the picture was great. The antenna didn't pick up much and one that most people by with it was not that much of an upgrade. The flat antennas that sell for 10 to 20 dollars worked great for over the air including digital and if you connect it to cable, it will scan those as well. I cannot comment on the time it takes to fully charge or how long it runs,, but it does come with both AC adapters and a cigarette plug adapter so if you have a boost pack, you can run a long time that way. Overall this product is great for what you pay.

Excellent picture -- I am so impressed. I just took it out of the box a few minutes ago and after a quick set up, I was able to scan in 21 TV channels only using the antennae that was supplied. Granted, I will have little use for the QVC-type stations or the Spanish speaking ones, but no more suffering through another power outage. If you don't have a magnetic screwdriver, just tape the small screw to your small screwdriver and push it through the hole and then attach the TV screen. It literally took 45 seconds to connect the base to the TV, so don't let those complaints stop you. Just make sure you have a good light so that you can see the holes. There's a big storm due tomorrow, so bring it on!

Now that I finally found out how to work it. Who knew about the small button on the back that also had to be turned on...too. The manual was good... But I looked it over and it really never told me how to turn it on. But hopefully it will have a long battery time for emergency use. Hoping for a long battery time... when power goes out here...for emergencies..

I ordered this to replace the little RCA that I had that gave out after only 3 years. I use it at my workbench in the basement, with a coax input from my preamp that feeds the 3 other TV's in house from an outside antenna. I get a good signal, and this little TV seems to have a decent and sensitive tuner (unlike the RCA). I get all the stations and sub channels that my big TV's get (29 digital and 2 analogue) so no problems with it picking up. I was worried when I first hooked it up, with the little push-in adapter for the antenna lead - - it was barely picking up 4 channels. I took it out and just hooked my coax onto a gold push-on adapter that allowed it to go into the recessed connection and that did the trick. No problems at all now, so be aware that the little included adapter is pretty much useless - - apparently loses a lot of signal there. The picture is good and sharp and I had no trouble flipping through the menu and tweaking it a little. Attaching the base is not a problem if you have a magnetic screwdriver. Nice little set, all in all, and I hope it lasts longer that the RCA did. It was charged when I took it out of the box and stayed on about 45 minutes, so happy with that, too. I have amplified speakers hooked to the audio jack, so the sound is great. Good purchase, and I'm very happy with this unit. Since I am experienced in TV and antenna installation from way back, this set was no problem for me to set up and use, but were I a novice I suppose the included instructions would be useless, they are pretty bare bones. Knowing that the included antenna would be only used for strong local channels is also a given, so as long as you know to hook it to a good outdoor or amplified indoor antenna you won't be disappointed. All of these little battery TV's are pretty much the same in that respect, so keep that in mind. This one is really nice and worth the money, so I'm very happy with it and for my use it's perfect. Someday when I get time I'll explore the USB and cable input capabilities, but for right now I'm enjoying it keeping me company at my workbench.

Absolutely fantastic! I don't get all the negative reviews. It works exactly as described. It even has an internal battery. Gee if I believed the negative people I probably would have missed out.☺

Reason for Buying: Severe Weather Coverage Picture and Sound Quality: Excellent Ease of Setup: Very Easy Included Accessories: Average I originally bought this TV to use for severe weather coverage when the satellite goes out due to rain. Since I live in Tornado Alley in Oklahoma, this is a necessity. The TV works right out of the box. Included Accessories include a wall charger, car charger, remote, and an antenna. The antenna is kind of crappy, I only got two stations with it. After reading reviews here before I purchased, I knew I would need another. I had already ordered one that worked excellent with this TV. I have several stations now. You can get the antenna here (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0051YCQ8E/ref=ya_st_dp_summary) This TV's setup us very easy, just turn it on, channel scan, and you are ready to go. The picture quality and Sound quality right of the box, is perfect for my needs. Others may want to adjust to have better picture, but I'm just fine with it. The battery on this thing hasn't gone out yet after two hours of coverage, so battery life is better than advertised for my set. I hope this helps some of you make your purchase decision!

Took a chance and got a huge surprise. I love this little TV. I bought it to connect to my night vision cam/recorder for watching UFOs...didnt expect it to pick up any tv signals out here in the middle of nowhere....but I got 6 channels! Also it is easy to see outdoors, excellent. I was surprised how lightweight it is and all the options for mounting. There's even a tripod screw mount on the bottom of the TV. The add on base can be detached quickly and even has screw holes for mounting on a wall or fix to a table. Most common adjustments have their own button on the remote. The resolution and color is quite good and the 9 inch screen size is just right. There is a small operators manual included but no mention on how long you need to charge it, or if it self regulates the charge. Also included is the schematic and repair manual...an added plus. Love it.

This is a very small TV that we have hooked up to our cable. I have put plastic wrap over the screen to protect it from food splashes becase it sits on my counter next to my stove. It is on several times a day for the news and other TV programs and is a consistently good product. For its size and price this TV is an excellent value.

Nice little TV. I am really happy with it. I have read a lot of reviews that complain about poor reception. But no matter what type of ATSC receiver, it seems like People complain about not being able to tune enough stations. I think it might be inherent with the new ATSC digital format. I have a DVD player with built in TV tuner that tunes enough stations to satisfy me. It is connected to a home theater processor that has lots of inputs and out puts. I have connected one of its outputs to an RF modulator that converts composite inputs to an analog (NTSC) channel 3 output. The output of this converter goes to an amplified RF splitter that sends the channel 3 RF signal throughout my house. This small TV will tune an analog (NTSC) CH 3 signal with no problem. All I need to do is connect to this small TV coaxial input and it displays everything that I have connected to my home theater processor to any place I can get a coax cable to go. My wife enjoys watching movies from the DVD player while she does the laundry. One other problem I have heard people complain about with this TV is the battery will not hold a charge. On the front of the TV there is a button to turn the TV on and off. Same thing with the remote. There is also a small switch on the side of the TV just above the various types of inputs that turns the TV on and off. While reading the pathetic instructions that came with this TV I noticed that the on off button on the remote says standby. Not on/ off. Standby means that the TV is not turned all the way off and even though there is no picture or sound it’s still using battery power. I suspect that the same is true with the front panel on/off button. I suspect that the only way to turn this TV all the way off is with the small switch on the side. When I turn this TV off I turn the small switch on the side off. My TV holds a battery charge just fine. The pathetic instructions that came with this TV do not confirm this.

I had given this product a bad review previously because i could not get it to turn on after it had worked for the first two weeks I owned it. THEN, before I packed it up to return on the return label that the vendor sent 11/27, I found that by switching OFF the power switch on the side of the set (that I had left on when I unplugged it the set for the first time), and then switching it back ON, I got the set working again. Then the included remote and the button on the front of the set next to the screen to turn it off and on WORKED again. No problems now. This switching the SIDE power button off and then on again is not covered in the operations manual. I think that this is a good product, once you know that little detail, and I recommend it.
