Great to reach a rooftop carrier!

I bought this for my daughter's pickup truck. I figured it would help me get inside the pickup since I'm very short (I'm 5ft 1 in tall) and her pickup truck doesn't have side steps of any kind. I didn't realize that this was designed to be able to get to the roof for a roof cargo container. So while this didn't work for the purpose I was hoping it would work for it does work extremely well for its intended purpose. Instead of keeping it for the pickup we use it in the SUV on trips and it's easy to now get into the rooftop carrier container. Very sturdy and well constructed. Very solid. I like it also has a built in hammer for emergencies in case you had to break out tge glass to escape a sinking vehicle. Hopefully we'll never have to use that feature but if we ever did we know we are prepared.

It’s a bit heavy but that’s just proof of the material quality being very durable. This product has a nice weight to it and feels very sturdy. I feel safe when using it as a step to reach the top of my car.
