This is indeed magical. I used it to hold down some strip of yoga mats that I put on my stairs so that my older dog can get a better grip going up and down. She was so hesitant to use the stairs because she would slip. The tape is wonderful and holds the rectangular pieces securely to the stairs. This is a fantastic product! Perfect for what I needed

I wanted to "mount" a 10 inch tablet on the center console of my truck to use as GPS for a road trip. One piece, about 3 inches long, cut in in half lengthwise gave me two mount points, held the tablet firmly, and was still very easy to get the tablet in and out. It's been there for about a week and a half, only covered when the tablet is in place, and it is still plenty sticky enough to hold the tablet securely. I have been trying to figure out a tablet mount in my truck for years (without having to hard mount it in), and I could have been using this all along at a fraction of a fraction of the price of a mount.
