If you are looking for a stylish and attractive, inexpensive bookcase or storage space but you are not inclined to want to take on the daunting task of the usual assembly with all those little screws and parts, then this is the perfect choice. No tools required. I wish I had timed myself when I put it together because I am sure it took less than five minutes to screw the poles together with a few turns of my wrist and then placing the plastic caps on the top. I needed additional space for cosmetics and misc. sundries and I already had the baskets so I was able to repurpose them. Mu baskets are 11" x 10" each. This attractive bookcase/multipurpose storage shelving unit fits perfect next to my vanity sink and hides all the overflow I needed to store without junking up the area. It arrived promptly, was well packaged and protected in shipping but not overly wrapped or difficult to unpack, is attractive and was reasonably priced. What more could you want for the price! I bought the cherry finish with black pole and it looks exactly as pictured on the Amazon site. I love it!

No returns does NOT mean no replacements

I'm not typically one to take the time to submit a review, and as a product, I believe that the other reviews speak for themselves. These units are cheap, so don't expect high-end furniture. They are very easy to assemble, and for my purposes of using them as the bases for a makeshift desk, they are perfect. They look nice, offer decent storage space, are strong enough to support my desktop, fit within my budget, and were wide/deep enough and tall enough to meet my needs. However... Upon delivery, I did receive one unit that was not like the others... it was the wrong model/color... and at first, when I tried to submit a return request online for a replacement, I was shocked and irritated to be informed that the product is not eligible for returns! Rather than settle without at least expressing my ire, I decided to contact Amazon, via phone, to vent my frustrations and make my case that it was completely unreasonable to not allow someone to return a product when what was received was NOT what I had ordered. Much to my surprise, especially after reading some of the other reviews, (post delivery, alas), I was greeted by a very friendly customer service representative who was able to use the information I had provided to review my order, and who then updated my order to ship me a replacement unit free of charge, explaining that since the product is not eligible for returns, I was free to keep it or donate it as I saw fit. After an exchange of her apologies for my inconvenience and my sincere thanks, my frustrations were quickly and cleanly handled to my satisfaction. My takeaway from this is that if you find you are unable to return this, or another item, and you genuinely received a wrong, broken, or incomplete item, do yourself a favor BEFORE becoming frustrated, stressed, and/or angry, and contact Amazon. My rating on here is fair, but also includes my appreciation for Amazon Customer Service in remedying my problem.

Incredibly Simple and Effective

Simple yet effective multi-tier stand. I use it to hold my entertainment center devices and it's perfect. I browsed for media stands but they were $50 and up! This what I was looking for... something simple but looks good. No tools are required as you literally twist everything into place. It's sturdy and indicates that 15lbs is the limit per shelf but I put almost 20 on one and it's fine. Tighten everything down very well, put heavier stuff on the bottom shelves and you're golden.

These "Turn-n-Tube" things are great! I love that the tubes are interchangeable between products so you can really customize the height and spacing of the shelves. My kid's bunk bed is next to mine so I was looking for something to use as a night stand that we could both reach. I also needed a table for my musical equipment with extra space to store various gadgets and doodads. I ended up buying these shelves along with another Turn n Tube product (an end table) and came up with a mix-and-match to BOTH problems. Also I read up on Furinno; apparently this company only uses environmentally friendly materials. All recycled, no harsh chemicals. Eco-friendly stuff can be really expensive so it's super cool to be able to buy this furniture at such a cheap price. I was going to dock a star because a couple of shelves were chipped in the corner but I realize that probably happened in shipping. plus I'm sure I could have gotten a replacement easily but I was too impatient, lol. Overall I really love these things, I'm sure I'll get more in the future as my family grows

Very impressed for the price!

For $20, I wasn't expecting much...upon receiving the package, I was first surprised by how heavy it was. I was expecting something much flimsier. After (the very easy) assembly, I was further surprised and impressed by the quality of the build and the size. I should have paid closer attention to the dimensions, but it is bigger than I was expecting, but not a bad thing. It easily holds the fan and few decorations I bought it for. Nice finish too, looks good. Mine had a few small scratches in the finish which wasn't ideal, but overall I'm pleased so not docking a star. For $20 this is a nice piece of furniture I'm not embarrassed to put in my living room, so no complaints.

Very Impressed ... Given My Particular Use Case

I knew these were cheap when I bought them. I even told my fiance, "these are both the cheapest bookshelves I've ever bought AND the cheapest bookshelves I've ever bought" (referring to both the price and the general quality - particle wood and plastic. But they were THE PERFECT SIZE for a spot that I wanted to add a bookshelf so I bought 2 of them and hoped for the best. A day later I ordered 4 more (!!!). Yes, they're cheap. But they actually look pretty good when they're assembled and if you're not putting priceless antiques on them, which I'm not, they work quite fine and hold up to some pretty decent weight (i.e. books, a few reams of printer paper, etc.). I honestly expected to be returning these when I bought them, would NEVER have expected to essentially triple my order, and would have called anyone a liar if they said I'd be leaving a 5-star review. Go figure. I'm very impressed.

Bought as a Plant Stand for Houseplants - Perfect

I bought this as a stand for my houseplants so I could have something to display them nicely by the window for sunlight. So far I'm very pleased with this product. It was very easy to assemble -- took me less than 5 minutes and no tools needed. I have no idea how long this stand will last but I think if you use it for plants and use special coasters for your plants or small plates -- something to keep the bottom of the pot from directly touching the shelf -- you'll be able to extend the life of your shelves. The size is perfect for my needs because I live in a very small space, but I have large windows that extend down close to the floor -- perfect for indoor plants. I might even get a second set of Furinno shelves for my loft plants because they are starting to stake over my work desk. Be sure to follow the weight requirements for this product! The shelf really is not built for large, heavy items.

Nice Little Decorative Shelving Unit

I almost docked this a star because of minor blemishes on the paint. But they are not real obvious, and this color looks great in my bathroom. The price is very good, considering it is brand new. Add to it I would have never found a similar item in any store in my area. It’s not heavy duty, and won’t last long if you try. But as a decoration unit, the white and light blue shelving it is small enough not to be obtrusive, but with right items on it, it looks very nice. Assembly is very basic and simple. It does not wobble, is sturdy enough to hold at least 15lbs per shelf. I am overall very happy with this item.

Good for records players

It works great for holding my Ion record player on the top shelf and my records on the bottom two. The top shelf can probably hold some small powered speakers too but I had no need since my record player has built in speakers and I'm not picky about audio. The fake wood looks great as long as you don't touch it and realize what cheap material it is. I loved that it was assembled with 0 tools, just use your hands and screw the legs together. And the whole thing is very light thanks to the cheap shelf and plastic legs so I can move it around easily. The price was perfect too....you get what you pay for material wise but you get more back in looks and ease.
