Love these shears

Love these shears, they cut thick cardboard with no effort. And they have a magnet that magnatizes to the fridge no problem. Really like the bright green color, so easy to find them :)

Great buy

These shears appear to be of good quality. Without question, they are sharp. These shears mean I don't have to get out the channel-locks. Because the handles are of equal size and shape, the good news is that the shears can be used from either direction, with the less good news that the handle shape is perhaps a bit close for four fingers, though not uncomfortably so. Also, the shears are just a bit on the bulky side--for me, at least. I say these things in the interest of full disclosure. These shears replace an expensive separating-blade pair of scissors I've mislaid, which was just as sharp but far lighter and with shaped handles, so my review results from a comparison of the two. In sum, this brand shears are different from the mislaid pair of scissors, but quite a bit less costly, very sharp, useful as a more convenient stand-in for channel-lock pliers, appear well made. They are more than adequate as a substitute. I use them several times a day, but have owned them for only a few days. So far, I heartily recommend them.

Excellent quality and very useful

I love these kitchen scissors. They look exactly like the picture and are excellent quality. I wasn't sure how much I would use them but, now that I have them, I use them all the time. These are so much easier to use than a knife. So far I've used them on chicken, bacon, herbs and vegetables. I'm sure I'll continue to use a knife for some jobs but these scissors are so much easier to use than a knife and safer too. You won't be disappointed if you buy these.

Excellent kitchen (and general purpose) Shears

Great pair of kitchen shears. Very sharp, well aligned blades, cuts even thin paper easily without jam ups or "scrunching". Very pleased with these.

Functions like new with daily use

Great shears for use in the kitchen. I love the quality of the blades and handle. I have tried many other styles and brands. These seem to be consistently high quality. I have had them for a couple of months now, and so far, no problems - and I use them a lot! I like the soft grip - easy for arthritic joints - and the stainless steel blades that can be used for chicken, safely washed, and used on herbs for salads. I have not found anything yet that they cannot cut. I purchased this almost two years ago to replace an old pair of kitchen scissors that fell apart. These get used daily in the kitchen directly cutting food and opening packaging. These clean up well with a soapy sponge and put on a drying rack. I don't have experience with these going through a dishwasher as we don't have one. These haven't rusted, chipped or loosened and look almost new still - even with daily use.

I love these, I have a 3yr old granddaughter that seems to get into everything but with these being magnetic, I can stick them on the side of the microwave and for now, keep them away from my Emi.

Great kitchen shears! My old shears started to fall apart, bought these as a replacement. They are nice and sharp and I love the slipcover for the tips. Great for cutting through herbs, meats, whatever you need. Everyone knows in my house, these are for kitchen use only. Don't steal the scissors for a school project!

Best Kitchen Shears I've found in a long time

I have purchased several pairs of kitchen shears lately trying to replace and old pair. I found I do not like the pairs that the blades can separate for cleaning. While it's a good idea for cleaning the blades sometimes are difficult to keep together and also a big problem I've had is if the blade is not a straight blade (as this one is) many things can be really difficult to cut. These work perfectly for me.
