This thing works great. Used it to transfer 50 cds worth of music onto my Mac. No issues and it did it’s job.

Exactly what I needed

While on a vacation in Punta Cana we went on a boat ride, the boat crew took a ton of pictures of us during the ride and burnt a dVD with pictures for us. When we came back home I realized that my laptop doesn’t have a DVD drive, so this portable DVD drive was the perfect solution. I just plugged it in to the laptop via USB, popped theDVD in and was able to all see the photos and copy them to the hard drive. Didn’t have to install any drivers, truly plug and play :-)

Great product, & smart design.

I am glad these are still available. I am replacing my old one. Other than nice design & great value that other reviews mention, the quality of this product is outstanding. It has a neat feature as well - a special “U” slot on the underside to tuck away the cable, so it doesn’t dangle when not used. I am really pleased with the purchase.

Good quality, portable, very easy to use.

My internal CD/DVD drive burned out. I was facing a large CD burning project and needed to replace my internal burner with an external drive. I have watched some DVDs and burned memos and pictures. So, easy to use, and a great price. A good choice no matter what level you will use it for.
