Amazing value compared to maverick xr50 and $62 cheaper

Best bang for the buck period. The maverick XR-50 is the best there is for 4 probe wireless temps, but it's too expensive, this is a fantastic alternative for the money. The unit is big and easy to read and setup, it comes with batteries, 4 long hybrid probes for big cuts of meat or grill grate level, a belt clip for the receiver and a stand for the transmitter. 40" length on all 4 cables and out of the box accurate readings as well as during my first cook as you can see in the pics. I'll update after about 10 cooks and see if it's still within spec. This was an upgrade for me coming from 2 ET-32 units, having just 1 is perfect for my 2 weber 22" grills, 2 for grates and 2 for briskets at the same time. Save the money and get this, if the probes get the usual LLL or HHH error codes, which all mavericks do eventually, this company says they replace them for free, great way to save $15.

This thing is awesome..

I live in a barracks. The Barracks is shaped like a U, one wing is one barracks the other wing is another barracks. It is a very big building that is made out of concrete and brick and topped with a metal roof. I put a smoker in the center of the U on the opposite wall of my room today to smoke some food and purchased this thing because it has the 4 probes which I thought would come in handy. This unit arrived, and much to my surprise it is actually two units, one unit that plugs in to the probes and hangs on the side of the smoker and another unit that is wireless and has all the data you need from the smoker plus so much more features ( I haven't even explored all the features of this thing, and might never to be honest). So I was smoking and keeping an eye on the thing from the courtyard today thinking to myself there is absolutely no way this thing is going to penetrate the walls of this building much less make it past the million wifi hotspots and up the top floor (third) that I live on. I didn't buy it for that though, but to my amazement when I put the batteries in the wireless unit... IT COMMUNICATES FLAWLESSLY. Its unbelievable, I have a very high power router and it doesn't reach half as far as this little cheap thermometer does. I am amazed, that coupled with the accuracy of the probes, the cheap price, the fact that the batteries are also included, it has a handy hook to hang on the side of your smoker, and the countless other features this thing is an easy 5 stars. If you are looking to get a multiple probe thermometer I don't know what else you would need, this thing does it all for cheap and than some.. Get this one!! Cant talk good enough about this little unit, 5 stars.

Accurate

I used this thermometer when grilling. It is very accurate when it comes to letting me know when my meats are done. I love that i can set a timer to let me know when its done so i dont have to wait by the grill. I also like that it comes with 4 temp gauage temperature. Its nice that i dont have to use the same temp gauge to check all the meats. I can use diffrent ones. I also like how simple it is to use, it has many features and they are all easy to use.

Steal of a deal for a remote thermometer!

Excellent thermometer! Used for my first smoked pork shoulder to check ambient tempt with one probe and meat temp with another. Came out excellent! Didnt even read the instructions, easy to use and remote never lost signal through my house while using the grill outside. And with 4 probes this price is really excellent. Just hope it holds up...time will tell.

Great device. Easy to use and has good range. Wires are long enough to put into meat and sit thermometer on a table beside the smoker.

Love out new Air Fryer tool

Hubby does the cooking for me, so he hands me the temp device and i program it for him and the first time we used it, it was perfect. I was wondering how it would work with our Air Fryer and it sure makes it so much easier when cooking meats!! With 4 probes, you can cook several different items! We will also use this for our smoker too! Sure makes it better than having to get up and check several times on your foods!

Can't beat it for the price

Got this to go along with my wsm. It had good reviews and was decently priced so I decided to try it out. Setting it up on my smoker was easy, trying to program the controller not so easy. Instructions didn't help but after a few minutes of playing around with it I figured it out. After I got it down I was able to set it at the temps I wanted and relax. It did its job no complaints there. Was able to walk around the house and not lose signal. Cant beat the price, just be prepared to play with the controller to get it to do what you want. Got it when it was 27.99

Best Father's Day Gift!

I ordered this for my husband for Father's Day. He has recently begun grilling more and keeps stealing my kitchen thermometer. He really likes the easy read screen and ease of use.
