What a cool gadget. My 2 favorite things about this lighter are that it doesn't use liquid fuel (which I find to be messy, a little dangerous, and always running out at the worst time), and the long flexible neck that makes it easy to light wicks that are deep inside tall skinny candle glasses. I've had long-neck flame lighters before, and even those can sometimes be a pain to use because the flame of course burns upward away from the wick you're trying to light. That's not a problem with a plasma arc. The fact that it's USB-charged, push- button operation, and has a power level indicator makes this feel like the lighter of the future.

This thing is super useful, not just for candle lighter. In fact lighting candles is the last thing I use this for. This is so VERSATILE. I go off roading and camping a lot. You can use this to light tinder and create a campfire in an emergency. Plus since its charged by micro-USB (see picture) I can use my solar panel phone charger to charge this device. The plasma heat part looks and feels awesome when I turn it on. Build wise I have no issues and there is a safety switch so you do not accidentally turn it on and set fire to everything. I love this thing so much. Highly recommend. Battery also seems to last a very long time...

I am completely floored by the marvels of our current technological standards. This handy piece of device is like nothing I have ever used to light a fire. It makes modern hand lighters seem medieval, from the futuristic spark and sound to the rechargeable nature of this device, it has the potential to completely change the way we camp out in the wilderness. It charges via a USB-C cable, the same kind of charger you use on Android phones. It has a On/Off switch and a separate "power" button that you press to light (you can even long press the power button it sounds like a mini lightsaber). My guess is that it is for safety reasons because you're not likely to both hit the On switch and power switch at the same time. This, coupled with one of those solar charger power banks and you'll potentially have unlimited fire starting gear no matter where you are. Easily my best purchase of 2019.

This works exactly as expected. The neck is long enough for everything we've tried, including reaching down into our grill to light one of the burner tubes that doesn't always light as expected. The flexible neck is really handy in some situations, and the arc reliably lights what we've needed it to. One neat safety feature is that the arc only stays on for about 7 seconds when the button is pressed. This prevents the arc from continuing if something gets set on the button accidentally -- though when you're not using it you should turn it off.

My stove's been broken for years and I've gone through about one stick lighter a year to ignite it. This thing is way cooler than a traditional stick lighter. I was expecting a little spark, what you really get is a plasma arc that's at least a few millimeters wide and looks very cool in the dark. It ignites pretty anything it touches instantly. Since this thing is rechargeable, it'll hopefully be the last stick lighter I have to buy for some time. Pros: Rechargeable, no gas Very cool looking Ignites quickly Cons: Only ignites a very small radius (no cone of flame). High-pitch electrical hum when making plasma, it might be considered annoying to some people (and dogs) MicroUSB instead of USB-C

What an amazing product! I have never seen anything like this before. I was a bit hesitant to buy but how great a product. So very easy to use. The packaging was very nicely put together. This came fully charged and ready to use. Also came with instructions which I didn’t even look at because it is really easy to use. It also comes with usb charger. This is a great idea. I love candles and sometimes when I don’t have the regular lighters I light a piece of paper from my stove and have to hurry to light the candles before I start a fire. No more. I think I will definitely get a couple more for different rooms. I honestly love this idea. Now that I have seen it And used it I can’t believe it came at such a good price. Definitely worth the buy!

This thing makes me feel like I'm in some sort of cyberpunk movie from the future. I was aware that there'd be a little arc between the points at the end of the lighter, but boy does it look and sound rad in action. I'm an audio specialist and sound designer by trade, and I can't wait to use the sound of this thing, especially if you wiggle it back and forth... But I digress. It does a great job lighting candles, just like it advertises. I was actually able to light an old candle that I was considering tossing out because it had melted down so deep that I couldn't easily light it with a lighter anymore. But with this thing, it doesn't matter what angle the lighter is at. It's like magic, or just a future lighter. The only thing I'd advise is to keep it away from children. The "locking" mechanism is literally just an on/off switch, and I'd be lying if I said I didn't mess around with it for a second, burning things that may not have been candles. Don't do that yourself, obviously, but yeah... kids... Overall, I'm really stoked that this thing is so cool and does what it says it does so well. If you wanna be a space ranger with your plasma lighter, brightening a tiny patch in the darkness of outer space, you know what to do.

This is a great little item, a rechargeable Windproof USB Candle lighter. Comes in a nice giftable box with easy instructions. It is very easy to hold and has a great reach for those hard to reach candles that I always end up burning my fingers on as they are deep in the holder. It has no flame as it is an arc lighter and therefore you cannot burn yourself on this and it is not affected by the wind so I can use it on my windest deck. It has a USB port on the bottom to easily recharge it when needed. This is a wonderful item that I didn’t know that I needed until I purchased it and now I use it all the time to light the candles in my home. For the price I can highly recommend this as a perfect purchase in the modern home.

First off, I love how this lighter is rechargeable! Now I never have to worry about my lighter running out of butane. It comes with a short, micro usb cable to charge the lighter too. While it is advertised to light candles, I am using it to light my little gas grill that does not have an igniter. The flexibility comes in handy for this so I can bend it to get it right next to the burner. I have a Zippo style plasma lighter that emits a really annoying loud pitch noise and I'm happy to say while this lighter emits a noise, it is no where near as loud as my other one. Love it so far! I will post back if anything changes.

The wife and I burn a good deal of candles in the house, so we plow through the lighters pretty quickly. We had just killed another butane stick lighter so I was looking for a different solution. I am so glad that I found this lighter as I am sure we will be set for some time. As indicated, this lighter does not use any fuel, but merely arcs between set of leads at the tip which is extremely clever. It uses very little power, as we have not had to charge it yet after about a month of use. It's somewhat of a neat party trick as well - our friends and family have all been fascinated by it when we have them over. Such a great concept that I wish we had come up with years ago. Thanks!
