Since I drive a lot and am on the road all the time, I was looking for some flares to keep in the car in case the car breaks down or I have a flat. I came across these collapsible cones and so far am very happy with them. It collapses to a nice compact size and when extended, the height is tall enough and the reflective strips wide enough for it to be visible from quite a distance away. You don't have to worry about leaking or dead batteries in battery operated flares since these rely on the reflective strips for visibility.

My husband recently had a business trip to CA where he needed safety cones. He only takes a carry on and his computer bag when on business trips and decided he would just purchase safety cones from a hardware store once he arrived at his destination and would leave them behind in CA as a free gift to anyone interested when he was ready to fly back to the east coast. We then thought about collapsible cones, but could not find them at any major hardware store. I search Amazon and found these. They were perfect! He was able to pack them in his carry on and these are now something we have when needed going forward.

Much better build quality than expected. I bought these to use when parking my motorcycle. Often, if I'm staying in a motel, someone will park beside me with a long vehicle that blocks the view of my bike. The stories of cars quickly and blindly turning into parking spaces and hitting motorcycles parked there are common in the motorcycling community. So, I bought these to put way out in front of the bike. The base is solid enough to hold the cone in place in a brisk breeze and it folds up small enough to put in my top case and it's very visible. I now carry one on the bike all of the time and use it whenever I park the bike in a stripped parking lot.

We bought a four-pack of Cartman Collapsible Traffic Cones (15.5 in) for use at the Baker 2 Vegas Relay Cup Race and we are glad we did. These cones are very high visibility, the orange is bright during the day and the reflective stripes are very visible to oncoming vehicles during the night. During the race hundreds of cars ferrying team support as well as runners and their follow vehicles passed by our station. They were able to spot us from quite a distance. In the evening the winds picked up and were quite strong but the cones stayed put. The base is quite heavy in relation to the top. It was fun to see the cone tops quiver ever so slightly in strong gusts. The cones deployed quickly and easily and collapsed quickly and easily, too. We are very happy with the Cartman cones, we felt quite a bit safer having the cones guide people and vehicles past us. We store them in the car now because they are light and do not take up much room and add an extra layer of safety. I would definitely buy these again.

Very nice product. I use these for dog training. My dog practices Obedience tasks with these. Lightweight and easy to move from place to place. Haven't tried them under windy conditions, but should be easy to drill a hole in the base and use lightweight stakes (or nails) to stake them down. I bought four and they fit perfectly in a Ryobi Tool Bag that I also bought on Amazon (https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B0186JN1RU/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1). Since I keep them in my car, they are ready if I need to use them as traffic cones. I can stick a flashlight inside to have them lit, if needed.

I love these cones. Bought them for my motorhome and I'm always trying to keep the weight down that I have to haul around. These work perfectly. When popped out they're shorter than the ones you see road construction crews using. However, that doesn't mean they aren't effective. They definitely are. Just to test them out, I put one on each side of my motorhome, and drove around the block. First at night, then during the day. Both times these cones stood out very well. I'm very happy with this purchase.

We bought these to keep people from parking on our yard (sprinkler system) during a homeowner's association yard sale at several homes around us. They worked perfectly. Love that these collapse, which helps with storage. We feared they would be too small, but they worked out great.

Nice and compact. I plan on leaving them in the box as the storage container for them. They are pretty light so they would get blown around with some decent wind, but they should remain in place with a light breeze.

We need cone markers on occasion to reserve parking spaces. I didn't want to have a stack of cones in a corner of my office or in a closet somewhere. These are PERFECT. They collapse down into squares which can then be stacked and put discretely away in a cabinet or under a desk or anywhere else out of the way and unseen. The bases are heavy and sturdy. I have not yet tested them in a strong wind, but so far, I am very happy with them.

Very durable and easy to close. They are light and on a major highway they could blow over. What I did to weigh them down, I went to Walmart purchased a 50lb bag of play sand for as little as $2.00. I then filled quart size freezer bags with sand and used them to weigh them down. Used the freezer bags because they are thicker. One or two bags is all you need per cone. Rest of the sand I’ll put in my trunk for when it snows for better traction.
