My opinion the perfect tool

This hive tool has worked great out of the package very sharp almost too sharp. Was able to break apart the hives and have a nice lifting motion a well designed tool and for the price very economical. Will most likely be adding a couple more to my apiary as they do get left from time to time. Great tool great craftsmanship reasonable price .

Work just like more expensive ones!

I purchased these because we sometimes misplace a hive tool (who doesn't?). Having a couple extra ones around is good because the hook on the end of this type is a MUST for lifting frames from a box. It's the only kind we use when inspecting a hive. These work just as well as the more expensive brands we also have.

Perfect, just as I expected

Perfect, just as I expected. These cost lower than the ones we get from Dadants but look exactly the same.

I like these. The hook is useful for pulling frame- the little notch lets you lever the tool against an adjacent frame to lift your target frame up high enough that you can grab it with your hands. Scraper end works fine. If you drop the extended scraper (on the same side as the hook) between frames, you can use the tool to lever the frames apart. Handy.

Sturdy hive tools.

Purchased these hive tools for my husband. We have a bee hive in our yard and instead of our beekeeper opening up the hive, my husband wanted to do it himself. They work great, and is he is very happy.

Great tool for the price, having an extra is nice!

Great tool, better than the standard angled hive tool... cheap, and works great! Also, I didn't know what I was going to do with the extra one, but I didn't want to pass on getting an extra one for just a couple bucks more than the 1PC price... but I found that its actually really nice to have two, in case you misplace one... one gets sticky from honey, or if you have a friend helping you.
