I love this 2-pk of Lodge SCRAPERGPK Durable Grill Pan Scrapers. When we aren't able to grill outdoors, I pull out the iron skillet grilling pan for steaks or burgers. So easy to use but also difficult to clean down in the grooves. This set of scrapers has changed the way I clean this griddle. The grooved scrapers edges fit right between the raised grilling surface, making easy work of what used to be difficult. I would highly recommend getting a set of these dandy scrapers.

I am new to the world of cast iron. I have some plastic scrapers that came with some stone bakeware, so I really debated if I needed these scrapers or if I could get by with what I had. In the end I decided to purchase these. So far I have been very impressed. These plastic scrapers are much thicker and larger than my other scrapers. This is great so you feel like you can put some pressure behind them! I have not purchased a grill pan yet, but I figured I would at some point in the near future, so I chose the grill version of scrapers instead of the flat ones. Two sides of these scrapers are flat and work perfect for my pan, and at some point the ridge side will work well on a grill pan.

This is the perfect gadget for cleaning in between the grates of a cast iron grill pan. Yay! Finally I don't have to rely on smashing my fingertips with sponges and dish towels. The plastic is sturdy and I just run them in the dishwasher with the rest of the dishes when I'm done cleaning the grill pan.

If you own a Lodge cast iron grill pan, the HARDEST part is cleaning it. This thing makes it not only ridiculously easy to clean, but will actually make you want to use your grill pan more often. Such a simple idea that works so elegantly well! I grilled some marinated eggplant the other night, which resulted in a lot of drainage of marinade into the ruts between the ridges. The marinade burned and blackened and made a pretty fine mess of the pan. Normally, I'd be spending a lot of time with a knife or wool scrubbing and destroying my seasoning (which defeats the purpose of having cast iron to begin with!!!), but with this simple tool, I just scraped out the pan and re-oiled it in just a couple minutes. Easy peasy, and no lumpy residue left in the ruts or on the ridges. If you love cooking with cast iron, this is a MUST!!!

I was surprised at how well these worked. Even after cleaning the way I had been, which seemed adequate, I re-cleaned with these - and removed a bunch of charred on food from between the lines of my cast iron grill pan. Warning, do not use this between steaks to refresh the pan while cooking. It is not silicone that can't handle the heat. I'm re-ordering after melting the blades off my first one doing exactly that.

These scrapers are a must-have for Lodge pans that have a ridged bottom. They make clean-up a breeze. I used to try using a sponge or a scrubber, but nothing gets into the grooves like these scrapers. The curved part gets into the "corners" of the pan, too. The scrapers get off stuck-on food, but don't disturb the seasoning. The package has 2, but I'm only using one. I guess eventually it'll wear out or something and I'll start using the other.

At first, neither of the 2 sizes on the scrapers would fit 2 different Lodge cast iron pans with the ribs. Then I tilted the scraper at an angle and it fell right into place! Similar to using a snow plow, always at a slight angle. I also have a Cuisinart Panini Press that we use a lot to make Panini sandwiches. It is difficult to clean the small amounts of cheese that get imbedded against the bottom edges of the ridges. Tried this lodge scraper, same angle and it works for my Electric Panini Press as well. Purchased a 2nd set for safe keeping.

These little gadgets are just the right tool for cleaning my cast iron Lodge grill pan. They reach down into those grooves in just the right places. The flat side is also extremely versatile. The flat section and the curve clean not only the Lodge cast iron pans but also many other pans where one doesn't want to gouge a non stick surface. That curve seems to fit a lot of hard to reach spots. It stays on the sink with the scrubbers - all the time! I strongly recommend this product.

Very pleased with this. Grill pans are tricky to clean. I realized quickly that these are doubly useful. Even if there are no stuck-on food bits, adding a little warm water to the cooled pan and then pushing the scraper along the grooves pushes the congealed fat (from steaks, for instance) to the edge where it's much easier to wipe out. I did see that the scraper did not fit the double burner reversible griddle but it works fine in my single burner square pan. It is made of hard plastic and might scratch a nonstick pan but it works fine on cooled - not hot! - cast iron.

iron skillet , check. easy to clean ? none of them are. I bought iron skillet cleaning soap which helps a lot. worth the purchase. Grilled two new york strip steaks and chicken breast, all perfect and great taste. i would recommend this . Remember clean up and making sure its dry before you put it away is very very important. I set my on the burner and dry it good.
