Thank you, Amazon, for Prime Day, which enabled me to purchase this freezer which is a great item!
The freezer arrived in perfect condition, despite obvious bangs and tears to the shipping container which worried me when I read other reviews. It cooled down immediately and has been keeping everything inside frozen solid since being plugged in shortly after being unpacked. It runs silently and gives off no heat whatsoever. The size I bought is almost too large for me, a single person, but the size smaller would have probably been too small. This freezer now enables me to purchase more frozen foods and meats on sale that I used to have to avoid because I did not have the room in the refrigerator freezer. This is a wonderful freezer!

Great little freezer
This freezer is just what I needed to allow me to buy in larger bulk quantity to save money and be able to cycle stuff into my refrigerator's freezer as needed. It's not huge, but it holds a half dozen loaves of bread, ten bags of vegetables, a couple of pies, and a dozen boxed items (along the lines of frozen meals). It keeps things *very* cold - at max it goes down below 10 F. I wish it had automatic defrosting, but frankly, after a month the build-up has been minimal with regular daily use, so I'm not too worried about it.

Perfect for long-term storage, just keep the lid shut for the best optimized efficiency.
We've been using this freezer chest for several months now, and a couple of observations: - It works as advertised, with no regrets or concerns - It holds temperature well (measured with a digital thermometer placed inside) - The dial-range adjustment is extreme, so I would recommend one purchases a separate thermometer and place it inside. That will allow you to accurately adjust for your desired temperature. - The aluminum-lined insulated interior is not meant to withstand the weight of normal-weight-range Thanksgiving turkeys, so either pick another storage location, or place them more genitally then I had done. Yes, I've slightly dented the inside of the unit, but not so much to impact it's capability. No regrets, as it allows me to store 3 LARGE turkey's purchased at low-cost during Thanksgiving, for later cooking and enjoyment for another 11 months. Wow! Lastly, my electric bill has not seen any huge spike, so while I can't speak to a specific utility usage, it appears very efficient to me.

Has worked great for two years!
I wanted to hold off writing a review on this until I tested it out. It's been going strong for two years, and I'm very pleased with it. It is not frost-free, which I understand is the norm for chest freezers. In the two years I've had it, I've had to scrape a little bit of ice from around the top (a little scraper is included), but I haven't had to do a full defrost yet. Definitely recommend!

So Quiet, I thought it was Defective!
I have had this freezer now for about 6 weeks, and I'll tell you what. I LOVE IT! Yes, when I first got it, I noticed a small dent on the front. Not a deal breaker. When I plugged it in, I was very disappointed as nothing happened. No sounds at all. I'm thinking I got a DUD! Now, the only thing running through my head was how I going to send this darn thing back! After about 5 minutes, I did notice the bottom getting cold, so I let it run. After 45 minutes, my thermometer showed -10 F. I reduced the knob to about 3/4, and it's been keeping steady at -10 F since. This thing runs so quietly, you'd be hard pressed to know its even on! Best yet, no difference in my electric bill. I don't know why I did not buy one of these things long ago. I hesitated buying the 3.5 Cu, because I thought it would be too small. Boy, was I wrong! If you have a refrigerator with a top freezer (like me), this chest freezer has to be at least 3-times the volume! Only my wife and I, and I have yet to fill this thing to the top! Yet, we always seem to have plenty of food in the house. This thing is great for freezing several loaves of bread, which would be impossible in my small freezer. Bread takes up a lot of room! I really feel this freezer would suffice for families of 4 or less. I enjoy having this freezer, I found it a great value, and am glad I bought it.

Unboxing and set up were a breeze!
This is an adorable little freezer! After I placed the order, what I wandered the most was if, being a small build woman, I'd be able to unbox the purchase all by myself. I was delighted that I was able to with so much ease. My purchase was delivered quickly by UPS and in excellent shape. The packaging was thoughtful and thorough. The manual was also well written - clear and concise. The set up was a breeze. I appreciate Midea for producing such a wonderful product. Thank you!!!

Keeps cold with no power
I'm really impressed with this freezer because our power went out for 3 hours and everything in my regular freezer was melting but this one was still just like it was on after 3 hrs. I thought my ice cream bars were goners but nope

Best size freezer for storing baby milk & food products
The freezer was delivered before the expected time of arrival. It came well packaged & protected with no damage. It's been a great solution to storing baby's breastmilk & homemade purees separately from the family's goods, to avoid contamination/deterioration. Like the drawer inside, which slides & can be used to hold other items within reach. Just note that the freezer compartment isn't too deep that you need to dig deep to get stuff out & I'm 5'2. The shape isn't a perfect rectangle, but doesn't steal much of the storage capacity. Overall, have been using it for over a week & am very happy with it. Will see how it holds up over time & if it's as easy to clean the frost (if it builds up) as indicated.

First Review, trust me? I am an off-gridder.
We are using the Chest Freezer with an Inkbird temperature controller to run it as a refrigerator. It came damaged, but it was decided we run it anyways. Putting a few gallons of water in jugs at the bottom to start we turned it on. It was quiet to start, and while running it is barely heard. The bottom six inches of the Freezer get cold along the walls, and on the ‘box’ it gets cold. Keeping the now ‘refrigerator’ at temps of 33-38 degrees is EZ. With the inkbird, I am able to change the max and min temperatures as well as delay time along with some other settings with my cellphone. So sitting on the couch, I can monitor the temperature when a family member opens it up to stare endlessly into the darkness. “Hey, close that” is not really needed as the cold does not flood out like an upright. I still do though. Loaded Up with food, I seen a two hour period last night that the compressor did not turn on. Tech: 3 DC-31s (3deepcycle battery’s) are running a pure sign wave 1000watt inverter to which powers the Freezer with an Inkbird Contoller to have custom controls and temperature both on the unit, and phone. The Freezer Dial I have set to (anywhere) because I am running as a refrigerator. Yes, this Freezer works, it gets cold. I would have like to see thicker insulation, but after tonight I will know how May degrees per minute the box looses half loaded. Stackable box’s seem like a must, and the wife likes them. Included rack, slides nice, and holds our most used items. Good for the price, very quiet, works as advertised. (Ignoring the 3 dents because Amazon came through with a resolution)
