I love these curtain rods! The end cap is larger than I expected, I was hoping for something really subtle, but ultimately, it gives the room a very high end feel. The finials are a bit larger than large marshmallows, they look great with a substantial curtain. I hung 92 inch long linen blackout curtains (really heavy), with no problem! These are a wonderful value.

For my kid's Christmas gift I built them a stage, custom seating/storage and shelving. Along with remodeling their entire playroom. I was going to purchase this expensive $100 rod for the front of the stage. Then I ordered this one for the back of the stage (black curtain) and was beyond surprised at how great it was for the price. Changed my mind and decided to go with this for the front as well. Just built a top area to install it and made a few other custom things around the rod. Thank you for offering this at a great price! You saved this dad some much needed money.

Great price, solid construction. Comes with screws and also drywall anchors, which is a nice touch. Looks great and has a good weight to it. Doesn't bend under the weight of four medium-weight lightblocking curtains. (when using the middle support).

Love these curtain rods, very sturdy and they are really long!! Used them for every window in my home.

Amazon Basics curtain rods are as advertised. Great value for the price I got two lenghts both arrived on time and are straight. They are fairly simple to assemble and install. The hardware could be better, however I never use what comes in the box. I’d suggest for most folks, a stud finder is essential. If you don’t know where your wall studs are, it’s not an Amazon issue....I’d never suggest hanging curtains without a wall stud, or appropriate hardware to hang directly in drywall. What comes in the box, may be ok, my experience drywall calls for a more robust type of hardware. So spend another few dollars and be sure you hang and install your curtains once.

This was fantastic. Easy to instal and came very well packaged from Amazon. I actually didn't know that delivery happened on Sunday so I was pleasantly surprised when I opened the door this morning to take the dogs outside. I installed it without any issues and now I can't wait for my curtains to come in so I can complete my room! The durable metal appears strong and I feel would still be strong enough without the middle support.. Although from past experience I would still recommend installing the middle support anyway. (just saying it is a strong rod) Also, it comes with a smaller middle rod that goes inside the two bigger ones to offer even more support for long or heavy curtains. Easy install, durable and strong, nice metal, color matches well with my grey walls, packaged perfectly, Sunday delivery... over-all very satisfied!

I bought this to hang curtains as a room divider covering an opening just over six foot. It worked out very well with some 84" blackout curtains which are pretty heavy compared to other basic curtains. I only used the end brackets and it holds it just fine and it is slid open and closed many time throughout the day. It has a very slight bow in the middle so I might end up using the third (middle) bracket, but it's pretty sturdy considering the brackets are about 8 feet apart. The rod and brackets are all well made. Great value overall for the price.

I bought this rod to hold drapes in my eclectic living room. I couldn't be more pleased--it makes a statement without being overpowering and it suits the three antique pieces, the mid-century bookcase and sofa, and the indoor-jungle aspects of my plant-obsessed living room. I'm an "older consumer" but I'm handy and installed the rod myself at ceiling height without any problem--it's very sturdy. Should I need to move, I'd definitely buy this again and I highly recommend both the brand and the style.

Got this for a curtain "diveder" between the main part of my bedroom and the babies section for while hes in my room. I installed this from the ceiling using ceiling mounts and the lenght and look was exactly what I wanted. Have the ability to open and close the curtains that divide the one section of the master bedroom as needed for the nursery and even doubles as extra light blocking If I sleep during the day and need as little light in the room as possible. The rod comes in two sections as most others and seems to be well made. Would order again.

I like this curtain rod a lot, but when i installed it it was 104" and my door is 72 had about a foot on each side, it looked funny so the smaller rod does have a thread on one end so i took one of the larger rods off and it worked fine but I did not like the look of a small rod going into a larger, so i pulled the plastic insert out of the larger rod and cut about 2 feet off of the rod with a hack saw and filed the burs off and put the plastic piece back on it and put the small rod back in to join the two together with no gap so plastic insert up against the other and it looks good now so i hope this helps someone like me that was confused for about 30 minutes up down up down until i got it right
