Great basement light!

This was super easy to install and works perfect in my basement ...

bright and use less energy

We installed this light in the middle of the 3 cars garage, It was so bright. but I adjust the angle of each light and let the light reflect off from the wall. then it give out perfect brightness to fill every where. this 60Watts light replaced 4 of my shop lights.

Extremely Bright

It's not a motion detection that I'm aware of. It's used in the garage where my switch already had a motion detection on it. Extremely bright single car garage, 10ft ceilings, 30ft deep garage. Lights it up like a Christmas Tree. Extremely bright, love it, well worth the money.

Two of these really changed my garage

Two of these really changed my garage, I have a deep (2 cars front to back) style garage, the back end is where my fixtures are (still want to figure a resolution for the "front" side) and they pretty much took care of the entire garage. The aiming feature helps, however is limited. I'll keep lights like this in all my garages from now on.

Light is bright

I said let there be light... and no I am blind

This is so bright. Worse then staring into the sun blind. One of the dark areas in the garage that also happens to be the only place for work benches is dim. But no longer. But in all seriousness do not look directly at the light. It hurts.

Bright, good color, cost effective, easy to replace existing bulbs(possibly need a socket extension)

I replaced twelve 100watt halogen spotlights with four of these, at a 16 foot ceiling height. I ended up with better light distribution (no hot spots), more total lumens, and lower power consumption. The color of these lights is like daylight. When I first turned on the lights, it really did seem like daylight inside my shop. I have about 40 more 100 watt halogens that I will be slowly replacing over time, and I plan to use these lights. While the strip led lighting is a little cheaper (about 200 lumens per dollar for the shop light style versus 196 lumens per dollar on these), the ease of installation makes these the clear winner if you already have light sockets installed. It's as easy as changing a light bulb versus dealing with electrical wiring and mounting/hanging of a shop light style, which takes time. The lights feel high quality, the "ears" that contain the leds are aluminum for good heat dissipation, and adjustable to throw light where you want, although it would be nice if they rotated in two axes instead of just up and down. The lamp base that comes with these are not a standard US size of 4 inches. They are very small diameter, probably designed for the standards of a different country. I didn't need them but be aware that if you plan to use them they may not fit your ceiling box. Also, in my use case, I needed to buy some light socket extensions as the base of these lights did not fit into the recessed socket of my existing fixtures. The extensions cost about 90 cents each.
