Reduce plastic waste!

I am loving these wraps and lids! I have a goal of eliminating all disposable plastic from my kitchen and these really help that goal. I’ve made beeswax wraps myself but these are much better. Unlike my homemade ones or others I’ve bought, these mold and stick well around food similar to plastic wrap. I like the lids because they are tight and stay on so that dishes can be transported in lunch boxes.

Went for stretch lids, ended up loving the wraps

I purchased these items for stretch lids, but ended up loving the wraps. The stretch lids are fairly stretchy and easier than expected to use. They have thick lips that help with the task of setting them up. Easy to clean, small storage needed. It did not work when used it in half a lemon (it squeezes the lemon)... So use them only in plates, or anything that requires lids. I was happy with them until I had to cover 1/4 watermelon... and that's where the wraps were so useful! The wraps are sticky in the beginning (it's wax!) but after some use they get less sticky. Tip: I use them for fresh leaves (mint, sage...). It seems like they stay good longer and fresher than in containers. I mostly use them for fruits and vegetables (mangos' surfaces actually don't dry overnight).

This is an excellent alternative to plastic packaging and zipper lock bags.
