Great fit, weight and coverage

We purchased this hat for our 5 month old daughter. Her head size is in the 75% on the growth chart and this fits with room to grow but not too floppy. The coverage from the sun is good and the weight of the fabric is also light and didn't make her too sweaty. The strings to tighten the hat were also long enough as well. Overall this is a great hat and a decent value. I would order this again if we needed another.

that she doesn't like to wear hats

My one year old decided, just as the warm weather started, that she doesn't like to wear hats. She also hates sunglasses, but this stubborn mother was not going to let her baby roam around without eye/head protection! We bought this without having high hopes since she pulled the velcro off other hats also--we've had a chance to try it twice and are pleased to report success! She has a large head so I ordered a larger size for her--there's a twist tie that I can tighten as soon as we get it on her, and it serves as barrier one to her removing it. Barrier two is the strap that we tie underneath her skin. It definitely feels waterproof, though we haven't tested that part yet, and she's comfortable and happy in it, which means she wears it, which means mom's happy. Definitely recommend it, and will likely order more in other colors!

HIGHLY Recommend for infants/toddlers in the sun!!!

Perfection in and out of the water! Bought two for a week long trip to Florida for my fair skin 1 year old. It stayed on his head perfectly to protect from the sun and his few times of fighting to take it off. It held up well with dunking in the pool and dries very quickly. Protected his neck and shoulders well too. I HIGHLY recommend this in combination with sunscreen for great sun protection! Washes very well in the washer or by hand (I did this after our days at the beach).

His go-to Summer hat

Bought this for my 2 month old for the beach in the 9-18 month size because it's adjustable and I wanted him to be able to use his for months to come, and am so glad I did! He does have a large head but the hat still fits him perfectly when drawstring is pulled, is super cute and protects his head, face and neck from the sun. Washes well also and is easy to fold up and take with us everywhere.

This hat is absolutely wonderful!! We have had it for over two years and I just lost it! We were packing for a beach trip and realized I didn't have it! Thank goodness for PRIME shipping! Our first hat was purchased larger, 2T/3T- back when our son was about 12 months old. The little string clasp in the back works AMAZING at securing it on your child's head and finding the right fit. It was so nice not worrying about sun getting the back of his neck or his little face while playing in the pool, at the beach, or on the lake. He wore it on speed boats, jumped in pools and all kinds of boy wear and tear and this little hat held up while keeping him protected. Love it! We have gotten so many compliments on it's full coverage and practicality- plus what a great price! So happy to have it again for my now almost 3 year old. Love this product x100!

Fit my 3 week old daughter!

My daughter is three weeks old and this hat, at its tightest, fit her perfectly! She is at about rhe 73% for weight and I believe her head is similarly proportioned. I used this hat on a very sunny day in our backyard and it shielded her from the sun very well. I am so happy that this hat will grow with her over the coming months. The navy color was exactly as pictured. The material seems like it will wash and wear well. It folds up nicely without getting mishapen. I am very happy with my purchase.

Great sun coverage for babe!

This hat provides great sun protection and has done great on my daughter since she was 3 months old. You can cinch it to be tighter when the baby is smaller, and relax it for later. I will definitely be buying the larger size when she gets too big for the one we have now. I like that it stays put, and that when you tie the strings under her chin, they stay tied and stay put. The fabric is lightweight enough to not make her hot, and the bill is short enough to help not obscure her sight. I also flip it up sometimes for a cute photo :) This has provided much more coverage than the bucket type hats that are popular.

Summer essential!!!

This is our second summer ordering these hats bc our son grew out of the baby hats this year. He is 18m and the 2T-4T size looks like it will last us several summers! We buy the white and gray one bc they are gender neutral and go with any bathing suit. I love that it provides neck protection and they dry quickly after swimming. Easy to throw in the diaper bag although they do get a bit wrinkled but the wrinkles come out when wet. I absolutely love these hats and they have done a great job protecting him from sunburn!

Perfect!!!

This is the second time I have purchased this hat! First time as a newborn (0-6 months) and now that he has outgrown that one I bought the next size up! (6-18 months) The great thing about this hat is that it is entirely adjustable sizewise so it will really last! There is a pull tab type thing in the back that you can make it tighter or looser in their head as they grow and always get the right fit. The back flap protects their neck and back from the sun. Which are common sunburn areas. The front flap (bill of the hat) does not get in their eyes like a lot of baby hats so baby can actually see! The material is nice and lightweight and airy so baby won't be super hot in this hat. I highly recommend it!
