Very pleasantly surprised, high-quality optics ultra HD binoculars for adults optics and accessories
Content: I'm a photographer and an avid birdwatcher and binoculars are a part of my daily life. For that reason, I was very pleasantly surprised by what nice binoculars these are and from a company(Cycivs) I'd never heard of before. First of all, the binoculars are very powerful--10x42 which is considerably stronger than the typical 7x35 that most people use (and they do take a steadier hand to hold for that reason). The 10x42 refers to the power (10X in this case) and the 42 refers to the diameter of the objective (the size of the front element). The larger the front element the lighter the binoculars gather which makes these very useful in dim lighting (at dawn or after sunset, for example). The contrast and clarity of these binoculars are probably not on a par with a very expensive pair of glasses, but they are extremely good--way better than I was expecting.

I like the Binoculars
They fit my hands nicely and are well made. Nice and clear and now I can use them to read the rain gauge out in my yard. They are as good as any that I have ever had. I haven't used the connection to my cell phone to use as a camera yet but I have no reason to doubt that it will work fine. They just work as I would expect. No problems at all here.

Larger, sturdy entry-level binoculars
Things I really like about these binoculars: -- The lens covers are attached for the magnifiers and it's a single piece that comes off for the eyepieces. These are hard to lose and easy to put on, so dust doesn't collect when they're sitting around. -- Everything seems to be rubber-covered, so when you set them down, they don't "jar," which is one of the things that tends to cause magnification issues over time. -- Nice, clear vision. Clear detail of small birds at 100 feet, wild turkeys and deer at 300 feet. -- Really is good low-light vision, better than my more expensive compact binoculars. -- The case fits nicely and comes with a shoulder strap. -- Comes with a lens cloth. Things that could be better -- These are advertised as lightweight but they are not especially light (although I've definitely seen heavier) -- These are larger and a bit bulky. I wouldn't take them hiking, personally. -- No neck strap. This package came with a bayonet mount for a cell phone. The mount clamps around the eyepiece and then a suction cup attaches your cell phone. I wish I could have used it to take some low light photos to demonstrate that in the binoculars but I couldn't get the bayonet to work -- I couldn't get the cell phone lined up with the eyepiece AND attached to the mount. No stars off for that as it seems to be a "bonus" feature of the package. Great idea, just might work better with a "grabby" friction mount instead of the suction cup.

I'm A NOVICe when it comes to bird watching and snooping on the neighborhood....
I'm A NOVICe when it comes to bird watching and snooping on the neighborhood.... LOL but when I was looking for a pair of binoculars to take on walks with the family and go to the beach I found these. These are EASY to use, the instructions are very simple and as long as you follow the directions fairly well worded. I'm excited to take the family out and adventure. I've never owned my own binoculars before, I can see very well with this set so I'm pleased to say I feel they are great deal for the price paid. I like that they come with a case, cleaning cloth and covers for both ends of the binoculars. The extra piece they send to mount an iphone with is a nice bonus, but I haven't had the need to use it yet.

Nice upper-mid-range binoculars
I have several pairs of binoculars. I have one $600 set with image stabilization and fluorite lenses that are amazing. I'm very careful with those. I use these Cycvis 10x42 binoculars as everyday binoculars. They do a great job and I don't have to worry about ruining a super expensive set of binoculars just to see if that is a Robin or a Cardinal. I recommend these for several reasons. First, they use the BaK-4 prism which is a high density glass of better optical quality than a standard BK-7 prism that many binoculars use. With BAK-4, if you hold binoculars away from your eyes and up to the light you can see the circular exit pupils in the eyepieces. The less expensive BK-7 prisms have squared-off, non-circular exit pupils. Bak4 prisms costs more than Bk7 prism - and there is a difference in the quality of glass and anti-reflective coatings. The Bak4 prism tends to make the most difference in low light, where it can allow you to see more clearly and without artifacts. In other words, these are NOT bargain basement binoculars, they are good solid binoculars with good glass and good prisms and the quality of image you see is better than you will get with cheapo binoculars. But the best glass and prisms in the world mean nothing if the glasses are designed well. The Cycvis 10x42 binoculars come in pretty solidly here as well. They include lens caps which conveniently can be left on all the time and flopped over when viewing, which makes it easy to actually USE them and hard to LOSE them. That's good design. Also, the adjustments are all easy to make and you can adjust each eye individually to make up for a situation where you have one eye that is stronger than another. Also, they throw in an inexpensive mounting device that lets you put your cell phone up to the lens to take pictures. It is a nice gesture, and it can work - but it is not a great piece of kit. That doesn't detract from the value of this set, it just doesn't add a whole lot either. When you look at the quality of the parts used in these binoculars, and the design features, this is a nice set of binoculars. They are well above what most of us have experienced with the cheap binoculars we grab for a football game or we get in a sporting goods store. They are ESPECIALLY GOOD for SENIORS, as the BaK4 prism is good in low-light and can help people who are having more difficulty seeing well in low-light, and also being able to adjust each eye individually to make up for an eye that needs more correction than another. The one thing I cannot tell you is how long they will last or whether they are made with quality glues and covers. I can only judge based on the rest of the signs, which lead me to believe these are well-made gear. Based on that, I would recommend these without any reservations. They show every sign of being a really good set of binoculars. I hope you find this to be a helpful review. If there is anything more you would like to know, please ask. I try to check my reviews for comments and respond to them right away. If you ask something and I don't get back quickly, please check my profile page and email me and I will try to respond as soon as I see it. I think it is important for fellow shoppers on Amazon to look out for one another by letting each other know if a product is good, or if it is a stinker. I take reviewing very seriously and try to be helpful. Thank you!

Great binoculars to enjoy the mountains! Lightweight, clear and bright!
I live in a very scenic place as you can see in the attached pictures. I had a popular name brand binocular but that was very heavy to carry around. This Cycvis 10x42 is lightweight, comes with bag and straps, lens covers for both ends and also comes with a phone mount adapter to take pictures and videos with a cell phone. It's very clear and bright. The middle focus adjustment is big and easy to rotate. It takes some time to perfectly align the lens with eyes depending upon how far apart the eyes are. - I've added few pictures of mountains with and without binocular from the exact same location to give an idea of the magnification and clarity. The Sun was shining on the lens so there is some light reflection. Build quality looks good and so hopefully, it'll last long time.

These area great pair of binoculars!
We gave my mom a very nice pair of Bushnell Field glasses last year and they are so wonderful, but are incredibly expensive. I was looking for something comparable but on a budget. I looked at several pairs, but ultimately tried these ones out and have not been disappointed. These offer a very clear view, are easy to adjust the distance, and are nice and compact. They come with lens caps that are attached, which I like since they won't get lost. My only real "con" is that the strap connection doesn't seem to be entirely secure, but I personally tend not to use this feature, so for me it's a non-issue.

Incredible Detail in Image
The product was a gift for someone living high in a New York skyscraper. The people have a wide view but can't see any detail because they are so far above the streets. These binoculars provide such an excellent image with clarity and detail. They are very pleased with the device.

Nice binoculars!
These came just in time for our annual critter-fest: squirrels, bunnies, deer, hawks, hummingbirds. Our other binoculars are 8x21, so these bring everything much closer. I don't know how they are differently made, but when use the Cycvis binoculars, the lenses do not fog up the way my others sometimes do and I am so thankful for that! The strap is comfortable, although we usually just hang them from the door handle on our sliding glass door for easy access. They are very easy to focus. I am storing the rubber lens covers in the case, but I like the idea of the covers for traveling. It also comes with some sort of smartphone holder which I probably will never use, though someone else might. Since they are not currently available on Amazon, I can't say if the price is a good deal for these, but if they come back I would recommend these binoculars without reservation.

Very pleasantly surprised, high quality optics and accessories
I'm a photographer and an avid birdwatcher and binoculars are a part of my daily life. I'm used to spending quite a lot of money on good binoculars (Nikon makes great ones) because I've just come to realize that better optics and construction make for a far better viewing experience. For that reason I was very pleasantly surprised by what nice binos these are and from a company I'd never heard of before. The larger the front element the more light the binoculars gather which makes these very useful in dim lighting (at dawn or after sunset, for example). The contrast and clarity of these binos is probably not on a par with a very expensive pair of glasses, but they are extremely good--way better than I was expecting. Also, these binoculars come with a great carrying case, a good quality neck strap, a big cleaning cloth and an accessories mount (that I haven't played with yet but I will). The focusing on these binoculars is a little rougher than the pair that I use everyday, but those are expensive field glasses. And to their great credit--and this really shocked me--the manual that comes withe them is big, clearly illustrated and well written. In fact, the manual gives one of the best explanations of how to correctly focus binoculars that I have seen. Focusing binoculars is easy but there is a trick to it and this manual explains that method exceedingly well. The binos are a bit heavy, I will say that, but since I birdwatch from my car a lot (I live near a river and a beach), that's not a big issue. Again, couldn't be more pleased and these will be with me all the time from now on. No price on the page as I write this but hopefully there will be one soon.
