I bough my ipower 4 inch fan in 2015. The scrubber completely got rid of odors the first year. The second year was nearly odor free after I switched the ends around. I consider that to be pretty good for the cost. The fan: I ran it 24/7 for pretty much the entire time before the death rattle began last winter. After a short run with a Vivosun 6- inch fan, I'm back to purchase my second fan.

I love it !! ...It was creating negative pressure in my tent unzipped it and the tent smelled clean left the door opened and it filtered out all the air in my bedroom my room is pretty big so double thumbs up. Its perfect size for 4x4x6.5 grow tent Dont over do it I turn it on every hour for 15 mins

My girlfriend blows up the bathroom, i'm hoping this will help.

Fits nicely inside a Apollo Horticulture 48"x24"x60" Mylar Hydroponic Grow Tent for Indoor Plant Growing. I got the 4" version which is perfect for this sized tent. no more smell!

The fan moves a lot of air. To quote another review, it made my 2'x4'x5' tent look like an empty juicebox. I tried the iPower dimmer and the PWM hum was unbearable. I purchased the Westinghouse 7787200 dimmer and installed it inline. Setting 2 is the perfect amount of air and it's now whisper quiet. The charcoal filter is great. I can't smell a thing. Great starter kit.

The way I chose to set it up works great in my smaller tent. I am using it in conjunction with an aerogarden bounty and works great. The only down side is that this unit is larger than I expected and might be overkill for the tent I have. 20/20/48 so it all seems a little crowded. It will be worth it for me to buy a larger tent.

This product removed very heavy flowering odor from my home in less than 24 hours! If you have never used a quality filter before you will be VERY impressed. The fan is quite heavy and very well built. It is a bit noisy, but not to bad if installed in a tent and ran at less than 100% speed. (A speed controller was included) I would compare the noise level to an average clothes dryer. BTW, this fan really moves some air. It would take 4 or 5 duct boosters to equal this fan. The filter is equally heavy and well built. I have paid much more money at a local hydro store that for a product with half the amount if filtering media. I did have an issue with the filter having a short life cycle. In hindsight this was due to the filter being dropped, therefore allowing about half the air bypass the filter. I suggest inspecting your filter carefully for any shipping damage before use. Anyway, I received a replacement filter the very next day after contacting customer service. Due to iPowers stellar customer support, I feel very comfortable buying any of there products in the future.

I got the 4" fan for a 12'x12' room. I piped all clean air out of room and no smells leaking out. However I have to have it on 24-7 or the smells start leaking out again. Another plus is plants look a lot better. I had vents in my12x12 room with a fan running but I know now the plants had to be starving for co2. Plants are darker green, growing bigger buds and losing less leaves. Also been on a 14 day flush of plain distilled water and buds still gaining size and still green. Before the fan plants would die down faster after first flush. All the fertilizer the plants can handle won't do anything if there starving for co2

Have ran it for about 2 months straight I did get a dial controller to vary speed because it seriously is that good has 0 problems on half speed in a 3wide by 7 foot tall tent 0 smells very pleased with my purchase if i buy quality to me it should be recognized because of all the fake stuff we deal with now a days as consumers. Thank you!

I have a 2x4x6 grow tent and it works like a charm. It was getting pretty loud in my house from the smell of my herbs but this fan solved it. I do have 3 complaints about the fan but they aren't enough to dock a star. My biggest complaint is the lack of a speed control. Doesn't cost but a dollar to add that in. Second is the length of the cord but I have a phlizon light with an outlet on the back so it worked out. Third is the ducting was a very snug fit on the filter. Good part is I didn't need a hose clamp. All in all it was a good buy. Its not too loud and actually works good if you like airflow at night while you sleep. It's actually about as loud as my hepa filter on high just to give you a little idea. I also wish it wasn't as bulky so I could use it as a fart fan in my dook hut
