I don't hunt so my purpose of purchasing this was to figure out who is stealing decorations from our yard. Ended up placing it in between some bushes pointing at the decorations and waiting for the perpetrator to get caught. Tested out the night vision and it's as good as you can expect for night vision. The infrared lights are pretty bright and can easily light up 15 feet in front of the camera as long as you are not blocking them. The LCD is good enough to use for setting up the camera but I wouldn't expect anyone to be watching the footage on there. It's pretty decent though for going thru any snapshots the camera took. The motion detector is very sensitive - i wish there was a way to tone it down a little but I guess it's doing what it's supposed to do. Takes 8 AA batteries and I can't speak for the longevity as we've only been using the camera for 10 days now and the batteries are still full. Love the rugged look, design, and cammo look as it is pretty much invisible in the bushes. I hope they end up adding WiFi to these cameras so that I can get notifications on my phone. It comes with a 32GB micro SD card, carrying strap, mounting bracket, elbow, and screws.

I brought this camera to a university in Cali, Colombia, who are using it in multiple locations for tracking and studying wildlife. While it's a little more expensive than the other options, it's still less than half the price of the big-name competitors and includes an SD card to get started. With three sensors, two on the sides and one on the front, the reaction time is great. I can't stand when the images come out and all you get are butt shots of the animals because the unit is too slow. After using several trail cameras, it's a relief to get a big, clear screen to check out the videos and images and also to set up the camera. The batteries seem to be lasting for a while, even using rechargeables. The key is to set it up properly so it doesn't keep taking video constantly. The option to plug in USB to download is good, but I don't think I'll use it. I like just taking out the SD card and swapping in a new one.

The thieves always stole my home stuff in the front yard, like bikes, hay mower, solar lights, etc. I suspect my neighbors did it, but I don't have evidence, I decided to buy the kind of trail camera, I installed it in my home front yard, if someone enters the front yard and steal stuff, the camera will take all that they do. It is easy to set it, I don't read the manual, I can set it, it is green color, nobody can see it, one day I show the pictures to police and put the thieves in the jails.

I bought this one when I want to go hunting in my friend's yard. I found it very satisfying. It is definitely high definition with good night vision. I am just surprised by how clear picture it can show. You can see those animals from a long distance, which means I can know a large area. The lense has a wide angle of 120 degrees. In addition, it has a 32g card along with it so that I don't have to buy a new one. I just feel happy that I got a great deal with this price. Definitely will recommend to my friends.

So far, so good. I purchased two of these and they were relatively simple to set up. Under "Test Mode" is where you set all of your parameters and look at any pictures/video the unit has taken. Switch to "ON" and the test mode is deactivated and your camera is ready to go. Plug the USB cord that comes with it to your desktop or laptop and it easily downloads your pictures. Daylight pictures are in color and nighttime are in black and white.

This camera works well up to now. A few of batteries can let it works for a long while. And I can bundle it on the tree that near my home and to monitor my home and surroundings. The video quality is great even if during the night. But the colors are different from daylight time. A helpful and worthwhile tool overall. Oh, I think this one can work well while raining outside. So I don’t have to bring it back indoors or add some roof for it.
