Buy-it-for-life quality

This ladle is the perfect size - about 3 scoops to fill a bowl of soup. It is also very sturdy and overall high-quality. I don't see any reason why this wouldn't last a lifetime. The edges were a little sharp along the rim of the scoop and the eyelet of the handle, but a little sandpaper took care of it. It would be nice if in the manufacturing process they took a bit more care with this aspect of the finish, but honestly I don't think it's worth removing a star for. Overall, I highly recommend.

Well made and designed

Well balanced. Comfortable in hand. Straight handle allows sliding in and out of a pottery storage container full of the handles of other kitchen tools without hanging up on anything. The 4 oz cup is a practical size for normal kitchen work. I prefer it to more expensive tools I own.

Great ladle for skimming braised liquids!

This is a really great cooking ladle. It's form is perfect--just right for skimming braising liquids. I braise a lot of cheaper cuts of meat to save money, and to have left-overs. Second day braised meats are really better than the first day! I love the heft of the ladle, and the handle is very, very comfortable. It's a high quality stainless steel, easy to clean, and is not a shiny finish to the bowl of the ladle which makes it easier to skim with. Highly recommended!

Very nice ladle

Well constructed ladle with a large cup and a brushed stainless steel finish that should hold up over time. The vacuum chamber in the handle does a good job of keeping the heat from reaching your hand. Given the quality, an excellent value!

Exactly what I was looking for!

I do a lot of crock pot cooking, especially soups and stews. Was looking for a large soup spoon to serve directly from the crock pot with minimal scooping (to avoid the extra mess). This ladle does the job in one scoop. Good quality, easy to clean and a hole in the handle for hanging..., who could ask for more!

Newness Soup Ladle-All Quality

If you are like me, I review opinions very quickly. For those people, BUY IT. My last ladle was forcibly removed from my house without my agreement. So now, I'm on the market for a better replacement. Wow was I ever happy to find this Newness Soup Ladle. The quality is excellent. The shipping was perfect. The ladle is balanced well. The thicker, yet light handle, allows for good balance when picking up liquids. I can hold it between thumb and index finger without discomfort. I believe I now own an investment that will be passed down to my kids. I like it so much, I am also changing my spaghetti ladle too. And I will look at other items made by this company. Someone was paying attention when they designed these tools. Good job Newness! Thx

Sturdiest Ladle I've Ever Owned for Home Use!

Back in the day I used great tools like this hefty ladle in culinary school and later in a few restaurants on the line. I'd been using for some wacky reason flimsy cheapies at home. Finally I decided enough was enough and ordered this bad boy and am I ever glad I did! Honestly, the desire to make taco salad shells at home in our mini fryer was the impetus to this purchase, a ladle with the right circumference that I could use to form the "bowl" in the tortilla. I'm impressed with the quality and doubt I'll ever need another ladle!

Great Quality and Size

The quality and size is great. Havent had long enough to confirm if it will rust or not but so far good. I will give it some wear and once I confirm it will not rust I will buy more from this same line. It looks really nice like i paid more than what i did.

Really Nice Stainless Steel / 304 Ladel!

I'm pleasantly surprised at the quality of this Ladel, and am glad that I took a chance to trust the reviews. Solidly built. Fully food safe, stainless steel (304) throughout. Not much to the packaging (fully sealed, plastic white bag), but Amazon packaged well this item with the other items I purchased. All in all, I'll get years use out of this quality product and would be happy to try other items from this company
