I was a little disappointed at first because they looked cheap. But they work great. The sound is clear. My kids have dropped them a bunch and so far nothing broke. Just the battery cover pops off easy when dropped. I’m impressed. We haven’t tested the distance. I bought them so my kids and I can talk to each other when they are outside. They’ve worked perfectly. Especially at this price point, I highly recommend.

Perfect for kids walking to/playing at the neighbors!

Our kids ages 6 & 8 want to play at the neighbors' house which requires them to walk or bike along a rural road about 1/4 mile. It wouldn't be a big deal if there weren't a few other neighbors who drive 50 miles an hour instead of 25 and there are corners and hills in that 1/4 mile. I like being able to know they made it safe and also to touch base with them while there and tell them when they need to come home for dinner. Normally, I would desire rechargable batteries, but the old house we are in is seriously lacking outlets and with KIDS being the primary users, I appreciate that these cost less without rechargeable batteries as I can get AAA Rayovac batteries from Menards at amazing prices. The range is good down the road with trees and a few campers in the path. Call button rings loud and clear (my kids enjoy that feature - mom, not so much, but that is why I have them, right?) Good quality for the price!

Works great!

Just received the Walkie talkies today. It comes with 3, so it’s perfect for my family. I took it around the neighborhood for a walk, and could hear my daughter talking clearly. Each talkie requires 4 AAA batteries, which are not included. Loving it so far, and the sound quality is clear. No static, and you can turn the volume up and down, depending on your preference.

Multiple functions and 3rd one for mom 🙌🏻

Great Walkie talkies. I love that there is a third for me to use to call my kids on while they are playing. We had a little bit of difficulty getting the battery cover back on after putting them otherwise they are super easy to use. Also, our batteries died a little faster than I expected but I am not positive they got turned off after use. Overall, we love them and are having lots of fun with them!

Nice set of 3

I have two kids in my house, and they have a friend 2 doors down. Parents are always texting to coordinate. I purchased these so that the girls could coordinate independently, and they are having a blast. I've only tested the range that far, otherwise I tell the girls to shut them off to save battery when they aren't using them, but they apparently don't get great reception in the upstairs at the other house, about 300 feet away. Still a blast for them. I'll throw cheap batteries in them when needed to keep them rolling.

Wow The Range on These

I’m highly impress with the range on these walkie talkie. The package came with three little walkie talkie. We took these to the park and gave 1 to our 7 years old and 1 to our niece and the last one we keep. We love how we can keep a check on our kids to know where they’re at and also if they need our help they can call us. I would definitely recommend this to anyone. It’s affordable and come with 3 walkie talkie.

hours of fun for kids

I have 3 kids, and this set of three was perfect for them. They have had hours of fun each day and were able to use them easily. My youngest is 4 and was able to use the buttons with ease and participate with her older siblings. The colors are bright and fun. The instructions are easy to read and use. The battery life lasts a decent amount of time- even when my kids would leave them on over night. They are great for camping, around the yard, out shopping, on a cruise ship...

Huge Fun, Clear Sound and So Affordable!

This walkie talkie set caught my eye because my young grandchildren love playing outside and lately they have been bored. The walkie talkie set arrived and I was pleased I could have one in the house, the girl's team could have one and the boy's team the other one. It's a plus the walkie talkies are different colors which permits each team to have their own color. They were immediately excited to get out in the yard and start playing with their walkie talkies. I could hear them very clearly from the house because the sound quality is quite good. Another really good feature is the walkie talkies can be hung on a belt or pocket. They seem solid and durable for kids who play a bit rough. The AAA batteries last a good while. The kids were elated they could use them at night, and also enjoyed the flashlight function. I am well satisfied with my purchase and highly recommend this affordably priced three piece walkie talkie set.

Good small toys for the money

These are great little walkie talkies for my kids. They are small and fit good in their hands. They do make loud beeps (for indoors) when turning them on and off, that I can't seem to turn down with the volume button, but the talking sound turns down. It is nice that the talk buttons aren't in a spot on the devices that can be easily bumped but they are easy to use. I like that they came in different colors to tell them apart and since there are three, I can usually keep one. The packaging was good keeping each device separated from being scratched. So far the batteries have lasted for a lot of turning on and off and hours of usage.
