I used these to make a solar chandelier. Buy a 97 cent solar light, remove the ground stake, and install the rest in the jar lid. Quick and easy. I particularly like the color of the glass on these jars.

I love these jars. I bought them about a week ago with the intention of using them as glasses and they do make very cute beverage glasses. They also double as convenient individual cocktail shakers with the lids on. I made some shaken lemonade and mojitos with it the other day, it not only looked cute but mixed everything well without the hassle of using other mixing everything by hand. The wide mouth makes these jars so great for beverage glasses. I also am using the extra mason jars as storage containers for spices, and grains. I already use the larger mason jars with the regular mouth to store flour and sugar, etc. Ball Mason Jars are one of my favorite kitchenware and storage containers. They are very durable and look great. I recommend these jars, they are very convenient, versatile, durable, and cute.

I purchased these primarily for using them as soap dispensers but have found a plethora of other ways to use them around the house. I purchased some pumps to replace the lids and now use them in my bathrooms and kitchen for hand soap and hand sanitizer. I use them to hold some of my craft supplies, cotton balls, chocolate chips, cocoa powder, you name it. I could probably go on and on about how I use these awesome jars, but I think you get the jist.

Every week I make a pot of soup, and I bought these jars to get away from plastic containers. I fill leaving at least an inch from the top, and put lids on for storage in the refrigerator. But the great thing is the soup can be heated in the microwave, no plastics! It's pretty well understood now that heating up plastic containers of food in the microwave may not be wise, so these help you avoid that, and they also don't become trash. I bought the white plastic lids in the past for a different set of jars, and I'll be using those in the refrigerator, but not the microwave, obviously. The metal lids rust, that's why I bought the white lids. I might give the metal ones to a friend who puts up jams every year. These jars are also good for freezing portions, but leave the lid loose until the food is frozen because of expansion, then tighten the lid. I like glass, it's clean, washable, and recyclable, dishwasher friendly, and no toxic stuff permeating food, like with plastics. If you take lunch to work, these would be great, you could heat your meal in the lunchroom microwave, and enjoy.

I purchased these jars for my meal prep! They came in handy for my yogurt parfaits! They were great because they were freezer safe and also kept my things cold!

Got these jars to make cherry jam. The jam was terrible but these jars sealed it up great and I felt like a real canner. The jars sat on our kitchen counter full of inedible jam until my wife and I had a serious talk and agreed neither of us was going to eat it. The jars cleaned up well after we poured the jam in the garbage.

I ordered these jars to store and organize tea light candles. They arrived on time and were packaged well. I like the wide mouth, very helpful when sticking your hand in the jar. These jars were perfect for what I wanted.

I blame Pinterest for this purchase. We now use mason jars as vases, decor, and storage all over the house. I painted these with chalk paint and use them to store pens and other items in our craft room/office. They actually turned out really cute, even my husband loved them. I'm sure they're also good for canning food.

I could live in a house made solely from various sizes of Mason Jars. But I can be clumsy so that idea sucks and I'll just get on with my review. I use mason jars for EVERYTHING. For soap dispensers, for storing food, food prep, blended foods (gtube fed son), bathroom storage, lotions, potions (muahh ha haaaa)....seriously these come in handy in so many circumstances. They are durable. They have a classic look that can be turned into something fancy REALLY easily. They're just super versatile and really good quality. Someone needs to make a book, 'Sh*t You Can Do with Mason Jars'. I'd buy it!

I use them to store salads for an entire week. They are perfect sized. Perfect to carry to work, store in fridge.
