Great complete set...perfect for a gift or beginner!

This set is perfect for anyone starting out with embroidery. The thread colors are VERY close to the DMC colors but for a fraction of the cost...nice complete range, no yucky colors or duplicates. I found the quality to be almost identical to DMC but a serious crafter might be able to see more differences. The hoops are good quality and the sizes allow for a range of projects. Highly recommend for anyone looking to quickly build a collection of colors and get started with all the essentials!

Great starter kit.

This was a great kit for a starter. I used many of the colors to customize a kit I purchased (from the same company) and didn’t have trouble with any of them. The scissors are a bit cheap, but still did the job after a couple attempts.
