Great ice cream maker

It is my first ice cream maker and this is my first time to make ice cream by myself. It was not hard. I followed the vanilla ice cream recipe which I got from internet. We only need ice cream maker for last step. It means great ice maker can make great ice cream or bad ice cream. It depends on all your steps successful or not. I made several mistakes before using ice cream maker. The ice maker is great. Easy to use and clean. I set up 20 mins. It works. The machine is not too loud. I am preparing to make new flavor ice cream.

Great product with reasonable price

This is my first ice cream maker. I was thinking about purchasing ice cream maker for a long time. Finally, I got this one. It is really cheaper than I thought. I am afraid of the function because of the price. However, when I tried this, it brought me a lot of surpricse. The first ice cream we tried to make was a twist on cherry ice cream made from real cherries and dark chocolate chips. The ice cream froze well and was absolutely delicious. For those who never use ice cream maker, I will briefly show you how it works. The machine contains two major parts, paddle and a drum, aka the freezer bowl. The night before you intend to make ice cream (or earlier) park your clean freezer bowl in the coldest part of your freezer overnight. This is essential that the bowl be frozen through with no sloshing sound. This drum is what chills the ice cream. When it's done, you'll hear the motor struggle a bit more because of the thickness of the ice cream, the ice cream will be soft serve consistency and will be done as far as its adventure with the machine. Overall it's much cheaper than constantly buying pints of ice cream in the store. Definitely worth the price and I would definitely recommend it.

I put the ice cream bowl in the freezer for about 24 hours and then put the ingredients in to churn for 45 minutes. The vanilla ice cream came out fantastic.
