I didn't know I could love a menstrual cup so much!
I wanted a menstrual cup really bad because tampons are not environmentally friendly and you don't know what is actually in them. I tried a different menstrual cup, but lets just say I had to have help removing it so I didn't want to use it ever again. Then one day I was talking to someone about it and they told me about a menstrual cup that they saw on Kickstarter. I did some research and found that Flex Cup is the same menstrual cup as the one from Kickstarter. I LOVE this cup. This is my second day wearing it and I don't think that I will ever go back to a tampon. I do not feel it at all when it is in. It goes in VERY easily, and it is removed just as easily. All you have to do to remove is pull the release ring and it comes out just like a tampon. I know that the price seems like a lot up front, but when you think about how much to spend on tampons and pads in your life, this is extremely cheap. I removed, cleaned, and put back in this cup within 5 minutes on my second day. With the other cup it would take SEVERAL unsuccessfull attempts before I could remove it. I don't often leave reviews, but I felt like I needed to because it is such a great product!

First Time Cup User and Very Happy!
I REALLY had a tough time with this product with my first use. The first 2 days of my period were just an unruly mess. I thought--based on videos I had watched that I was using "the best" insertion method. I WAS WRONG! There is a "best" insertion method only for you, no one way is right! As soon as I started inserting using a different method I had INSANE results! No leakage, no spills, no worries, no problems! I cannot believe I waited this long to switch to a menstrual cup. I feel like an idiot for just catching onto this craze really. The pull tab to remove is super easy. Literally just like a tampon. I have no other menstrual cups to compare it to, but honestly I don't have a desire to try any others. LOVE THIS PRODUCT.

Favorite menstrual cup!
I’ve tried two other cups previous to this one (the lady cup and the diva cup) and this one is my favorite! The medical grade silicone is much more pliable than the others I’ve tried, which makes application and comfort a bit better. The pull string technology is amazing and I would imagine makes removal easier for shy or new cup users. I’ve had other cups ride up higher after prolonged wear, which made removal a bit tricky, but it helps so much. I was a little put off at how much you could feel the tab, but quickly forgot about it as it warmed with my body temperature (which is mentioned in the literature that comes in the box). The holes are larger so you can leave the cup in for longer periods of time and not lose suction. I love that it’s black, which makes it look a little sleeker on top of not showing the typical staining after prolonged use. Also glad the storage bag is lint free! All in all, a great cup for beginners or seasoned cup users alike.

Never worry about it getting stuck again!
This menstrual cup is the solution I've been looking for. After getting another mentrual cup stuck to my cervix, I was terrified about using one again, despite how much I like the idea of sustainability, fewer chemicals in my body, and less stress dealing with leaks. The pull string on this makes removal as simple as a tampon (that's why I gave suction only 3 stars, enough suction but not too much). I don't feel it when it's in. It's as easy as others to insert. It lasts all day. What more can you ask for?

The BEST cup!!! Easy to insert, remove, holds a lot. The best.
I have been using menstrual cups for about 6 months after starting to have extremely heavy periods beyond what a tampon could handle. I am also trying to cut back on waste. I tried the diva cup and it was always hard to break the seal to remove and honestly didn’t hold that much so I found myself using tampons more. When I saw the Flex had a mechanism to break the seal, I decided to try it and it’s THE CUP!!!!! HOLDS MORE!!!! It’s larger so it holds more, but it is so comfortable. FLEXIBLE!!!! Somehow it manages to be super sturdy but super flexible. I guess that’s why they call it Flex. EASY TO REMOVE!!! The pull cord to break the seal makes this thing so comfortable to remove. No spill when removing. Easy to insert, too. You do not feel the “pull”. If you do I think it’s it is more mental than physical. I am young and have not had kids so I am super duper in tact, to put it politely, and I feel nothing with this cup in. You have to be comfortable with your body to use a cup, and once you do it’s like you crossed some super hero woman line and it feels very powerful. It’s not pink, purple or blue. It’s black, not some gross baby color. I’m a stylish adult who doesn’t want things to be infant colored. This also means it doesn’t stain, the contents is not as appalling with a black background. This cup is wonderful. Make it your first if you are nervous about trying. And women, tell other women about menstrual cups. Some random lady approached me in the tampon isle at Walmart and I tried to blow her off but what she told me got me curious and I owe that lady a big thank you!!!!!

Super comfortable and easy to use!
First time trying a menstrual cup. It's so comfortable, no leaking, no pressure like I have to pee and I haven't cramped once since wearing it. I have had major issues with tampons causing infections and pads causing infected pores. I live in Houston and it gets hot and humid. Pads would give me rashes. I can't believe how easy it is to use and if you help push it out as you pull the tab there is no mess at all. I am buying a second one so if I ever need to do it in a public restroom I can trade them and then clean the first one and store it for later.

Try it!
So first of all I tried a normal menstrual cup a couple yeas ago and ended up with a hemorrhoid from straining while trying to remove it and the suction when removing caused pain. The pull string design of the flex cup eliminated both of these problems. It was so comfortable and my period was less painful then normal. I was able to wear it all day without leaking, except on my heaviest day but I just needed to dump it at 10 hrs instead of 12. Really so comfortable and way easier to remove than normal cups. The “pull string” is also very soft and not irritating like the sticks on the end of a normal cup.

Works Really Well!
Like most people who use menstrual cups, I wanted to find an eco-friendly alternative to tampons. At first, I bought a Diva Cup but after trying it I found it extremely difficult to get out to the point that I would spend about 20 minutes each time trying to empty it. I eventually gave up and went back to tampons. Then, I came across an ad for this cup, seeming to fulfill my need for a cup with easy removal. After trying it I must say I’m pleasantly surprised at how easy this actually is to get out. I have a very heavy flow and my cup has not leaked once, and holds a lot. I am able to sleep with it in without worrying. I read that some people had issues with feeling the stem outside of their vagina but I didn’t personally have this problem. I will say that sometimes I am able to feel the cup itself inside but that’s not surprising as it is much wider than a tampon. Overall, I’m very satisfied with this product!

Great product, would recommend highly
Used it for one cycle so far, and I love it! I’m a first time cup user, so the pull string was a big draw and made removal really simple. It seems to be medium firmness, which made it a bit difficult to fold and insert, but it pops open easily. It was pretty comfortable once I got the hang of it. I also like that the cup is black so any potential stains won’t be visible. It even seems to have shortened my period by a day or so!

Easy to Remove!!
I have tried other menstrual cups and my biggest complaint is that I used to get worried when I couldn’t get it out and would take sometimes 10 minutes just to get the tiny pull tab. This cup is amazing!!!! The pull string connects to the inside of the cup which pulls it from the wall, loosening the suction. I highly recommend if you’re the type that gets worried about trying to get the thing out! My only complaint is that it is quite larger/thicker than my previous cup and it took some learning on how to insert it but now that I’ve got it down I will never go back to anything else.
