.
This was my first venture in building a Raspberry Pi myself. While the learning curve was a challenge, the tremendous satisfaction received in building a working PC of my own was truly worth the effort.

Love this little touchscreen
Easy installation. I have my Raspberry Pi connected to a 1080P TV and use this screen at the same time. The driver installation instructions were simple. After reboot, the resolution was set low and it didn't look good on my TV but did look good on this screen. I disconnected the LCD screen and set the Pi's resolution back to Default so my TV monitor looked good again. Then reconnected the display and they both look great filling the whole screens. I don't have a practical use for it yet but it is cool!

Awesome device
Exactly as advertised! Works perfect. Not a plug and play device there is 5 lines of code involved on the back of the instructional booklet included. Started right up after that. * If you want to go back to HDMI connector you will need this code which was not included & took a lil time to find: cd LCD-show/ chmod 777 LCD-hdmi sudo ./LCD-hdmi

Good quality screen. Installs very easily.
Setup couldn’t have been easier. Screen quality is decent for its size. Wish the case was metal. Other than that I’m running this setup as my op25 scanner. Works very well.

Not great for Raspberry Pi
I bought this for use with a Raspberry Pi. The screen resolution is not good for the Pi, had to use a magnifying glass to read text. Not the fault of the screen, I am a noob with these small computers. I ordered a different screen for the Pi (800x600) and that is better. I have a media player on the way which I will use with this screen, so I can play movies on it. The media player has a UI with big graphics, so it should work great with this screen. The media player can play music files as well as movies, so I am making a boombox with some great 4" speakers and a large battery pack for a portable media center. I had intended to use a Raspberry Pi in this project, but the small media player will be a better fit anyways, it has a usb port for flash drives and both SD card and micro SD card slots for music and video storage.

Follow the instructions and it works
Using my Raspberry as an Octopi set the screen output in the raspi-config. And plug the USB from touch to one of the USB ports on the Raspberry pi. Install Touch UI on the Octopi.

Great quality for the price!
The item was very easy to put together, I was impressed with the build quality of the case and the extra heatsync and fan was definitely a bonus!
