I bought this for my two dogs. One is a little ShiTzu and my other is an American Bulldog. My ShiTzu has black nails. I've always been scared to use a traditional nail cutter on her. I love using this nail grinder for her. With my Bulldog, his nails are so thick it's hard to use a nail cutter for his nails. This thing files his nails like its butter. And he just lays down and let's me take care of his paws. I think he likes the grinder better too.

This is an upgrade to a pet nail grinder that I already have. I love the original, but this one is a real step up. I did my 3 dog's nails last night. It operated as perfectly for the 3rd dog, as it did for the 1st. It still has lots of power, before needing to recharge. I definitely recommend this. It's very quiet, too.

Great dog nail grinder!

We use for our 80 lb boxer, his nails grow so quickly and we couldn't keep up with trimmings. Its taking some getting used to on both of our ends, but very easy to use, I like that there are two speeds for more control over the grinder. The guard is great, but a bit small for his nails so we end up taking it off, which is a bit riskier and makes me a bit more nervous, but we are adjusting. Used it 3 times now, short bursts to help him get comfortable and we haven't needed to charge it yet! Overall, great product so far. Very happy with the purchase..

Surprisingly my cat didn’t even care I was using this on him. He HATES his nails being cut. It’s very quiet so it didn’t startle him, and he just sat there while I trimmed all his nails! 10/10 recommend!!

glad i got this

my dog dose not make clipping his nails easy for me (don't think any dog dose). the first day i got the mail grinder life got better for us. works very well. its quiet on till you start grinding its not a loud noes so that it don't scare the dog. no one as got scratched in a week but its time to grind.

Amazed by how quiet it is

We had a new dog last month. He is a very sensitive baby and easily freaked out by any loud sound. In fact, we wanted to buy a nail clipper for him but we also afraid to hurt his nails as we are not vets. So we finally chose this WWVVPET nail grinder which did not let us down. We are surprised by how quiet it is, even my sensitive baby can bear its sound and vibration. Now we can easily grind his nails which we think it's safer and faster. Moreover,this is saving me lots of money because I can now do the filing of his nails at home instead of taking him to the vet for nail trimmings.

Best large dog nail trimmer ever!!!

I used to hand file my Great Dane's nails and it would take a couple of hours. She would not tolerate me using a nail clipper on her. So, I started by setting it by her while it was running (which it is very quite) and when she wasn't watching me I used it briefly on a nail then went back to manually filing and then used it again and so forth and before I knew it she was fine with it. Had her nails done in about 20 mins. Extremely quiet and low vibration. Great product.

Good grinder

Fantastic upgrade!

So I bought an original one of these years ago. Was ok. When I seen the new updated version I was interested. It is so much better! It is very quiet, the filing head is much smaller and the entire unit was easier to use. My dog was terrified of the old loud version but I got 2 paws done before she even stressed about it lol. That was HUGE!!! would highly recommend, great value.

Does a great job on dog nails and does it "quick".

I've used a dog nail grinder before, but this one does it a lot quicker and only needs a gentle touch to do its task. Note that this one grinds "fast" and you do need to take care when using it on your pet. On the other hand it does the heavier dog nails while lower powered units take longer and likely can build up heat. Hurting the dog will make it much more difficult to use the nail grinder so take your time and keep the dog less fearful of trimming its nails. Note that this unit grinds "fast" so you need to be careful until you know how long you need to grind a nail. With long overgrown nails it will take longer and you may have to do two sessions to keep your dog from getting upset. Also continuous grinding of a nail generates heat that might become painful to your pet. The grinder appears to be durable and likely will last some time. You do need to remove the housing around the grinding wheel and blow out the accumulated fine powder generated from grinding your pet's nails. Keep the box and paperwork in case you have any future problems with the product and need to contact the seller.
