A great accessory with an unbeatable build quality and selection of ports for the money.

This is a staple accessory for those that have USB Type-C smartphones, as well as newer laptops like any of the post-2015 MacBook Pro's. Native USB devices like flash drives and external hard drives are still relatively uncommon, while many of the newest flagship smartphones and Apple notebooks ONLY support USB Type-C peripherals. This Hub serves to add USB Type-A to devices that don't have them, while also allowing for HDMI 4K/30FPS external display output, which I was able to test using my Samsung Galaxy S10e. The hub also has another built-in USB C port that allows fast charging and up to 100w of power delivery. This will be greatly appreciated especially by users with the newer non-Pro Macbook and Macbook Air models, because it gives back that USB type C port that they used to plug in this hub! The build quality is fantastic, and resembles the aluminum "space gray" color that Apple, Huawei, and others use on their flagship "Pro" devices, so users of those products will enjoy the matching colors. The price vs. the above features and build quality is unbeatable. Now, I have a couple of recommendations, and I don't really consider them "negatives" per say, but could improve the functionality and presentation of the product; 1. Consider adding a Micro SD card slot to the product for those with cameras, as users of newer Macbook models and other flagship ultrabook computers have been lacking this port for awhile. I don't consider this a negative, because it looks like the real estate of the hub was used wisely, and I appreciate the variety of USB ports. You can only ask for so much for the low price. 2. Improve the product packaging and documentation. The information on the back of the box is confusing, conflicting, and I think applies to other products besides this one. Streamline this and make it simple, because even a tech savvy user like me is having trouble understanding it. The short specification manual on the inside depicts a completely different hub product in the diagram that supports SD cards and RJ45 ethernet port. My pictures: 1. Works just as expected

It works great! I've had some trouble with adapters in the past, and it's good to know i now have one that can do everything. it replaces 5 adapters in my backpack, and i'm very grateful. I'd say it's a solid choice for anyone looking to add a lot of versatility to their usb c laptop.

Everything but the kitchen sink.

With every port this hub has, you’re all set (even has an option to use as a powered hub for charging). Data transfer is quick and reliable, and video output quality is excellent. Definitely a handy little device to have around.

Nice and portable!

First off, it’s a very nice small portable USB/HDMI type C hub. The size makes it very convenient and portable. It’s light weight and look sleek! So far it works as described. The only negative thing I can say is the item I received has a different name/logo from the pic. The physical appearance is the same, just different logo. Not sure why.

Great product!

I do love this product! I think it is a great product for the money. You can plug this into a phone and use a keyboard if you want and it has an hdmi which is what I needed for my Mac. It is lightweight and compact so makes it easy to throw in my laptop bag or purse. It says it supports micro SS card but you need an adapter to plug it in as there is no slot for it but that’s ok. My sister needs one of these as her whole family has Samsung phones, will be getting her one!!! Love this gadget overall great product!!

Works as expected. Great little device

I've been using this USB C hub with my 12" Macbook and it's been working great so far! USB C hubs are pricey, but what makes this one worth it is all the dongles it replaces in a small package. This may be the last USB C dongle/hub you will need. It has it all and is still portable. The 2x HDMI and 4x USB ports are perfect for my setup. No additional docking station or dongles needed to plug in all my external devices.

Fast and solid

I plugged it into my laptop/tablet recognize the docking station fast in windows 10. HDMI for the 2nd screen came up fast as well as all the USB ports. And Ethernet connection is great for thin laptop with only usb c connection.

prefect all-in-one hub

This hub comes with a travel bag and manual. It has every connection I could ask for. I am using it on a Yoga 910 as docking station, with a 35" display, keyboard/mouse and webcam connected to the hub, plus Ethernet for fast backups to network attached storage. The build-in card reader is fast and it has an antique VGA port for older presentation equipment. The manual is detailed and describes different configurations and use cases in addition to listing specs and compatibility. The hub's metal casing and coated USB C connection feel solid and good quality. Under operation the hub warms up a little but does not get hot. Perfect all-in-one hub. Recommended!

Multiport USB

I really like this from the all of my USB HUB because this one has all kind of ports and most number of ports you may need in the hub. It has 2xHDMI: HDMI to HDMI works good, HDMI to DVI converter - works well, HDMI to Display Port also works well. SD & TF cards works perfect. Ethernet tested up to 200Mb/s works pretty good. USB C: Works good, USB 2.0 & USB 3.0 works also good. VGA port I have not tried but I think its good to have to use with old computers.
