Very satisfied (but slightly misleading product description)

Very satisfied. Hammock is comfortable and the pre-tied knots in the ropes make hanging the hammock quite simple. NOTE: if you're looking for a hammock that comes with TREE STRAPS with loops, those are NOT included with this hammock. The "tree-friendly straps" that are referred to in the product description are simply nylon covers to go over the rope so it doesn't cut into the tree bark. I found that misleading (thinking that it came with ropes AND tree straps) and was disappointed when I opened my hammock and found no separate tree straps, just the ropes. But because they come with pre-tied knots I found that hanging the ropes is actually quite easy so I'm still happy with the purchase. However, they definitely don't have as much adjustability as tree straps with loops so I may purchase those separately as well

This hammock rocks!!

I recently purchased the Double Camping Hammock. I was browsing for a hammock to take on hikes for awhile, but there are so many out there at varying prices that I always held off. But, after a late night of amazon sleuthing, this hammock popped up on an item I was viewing as "customers who viewed this ultimately bought..." and I clicked. I was very excited by the many good reviews it had online, plus that it came with everything required for use/setup, and bought it the next morning. This was last Tuesday. It came in two days (awesome shipping time!) and I had it set up in my yard in about 30 seconds after opening. I think I stayed in it for two hours without realizing that the time had passed! This weekend, I took it up one of my favorite mountains to hike and camped out for a few hours. The hammock makes it so easy to allow yourself to relax and take in the views! Usually I get to the top and sit for a little while, but feel rushed to move on as more and more people pass through the summit. But, with the hammock, I can just set up off to the side and take in the views with a little more privacy and a lot more relaxation. I love that the bag is a part of the hammock itself; it's one less thing to keep track of plus its a nice little pocket to throw your phone/water in when hanging out. I'm camping next weekend, and you can bet that I'm bringing your hammock with me! I'm so excited that it's so large and I can definitely lounge with my boyfriend, and have a relaxing night by the fire. Easy and comfortable

Bought this to use to relax and read in the park. Having never used one before, it took me about 20 seconds to set it up. It's comfortable and durable. If only one person is using it, the sides of the hammock can act as a wind guard if it's a windy day. Could not be happier with this purchase. My dog loved it too.

I love this hammock

I love this hammock. I took this on an overnight backpacking trip and camped on a waterfall. I was amazed at how easy and comfortable this was. The double-wide is awesome because you can wrap it around yourself to keep bugs out. If you put something in the pocket you can sling it over the top and it will hold the hammock closed.

Great double hammock for a very competitive price

I bought this hammock to enjoy some relax with my SO. The hammock is very light and easily folded, a perfect addition to every backpack: it's made with sturdy nylon, and the ropes are thick and robust, but at the same time very elastic. Mounting the hammock was pretty easy, there are already a couple of knots in the ropes that have to be attached to the trees, but adding more is just a matter to tie an overhand know, and then one can set the height of the hammock as he pleases. The carabiners that are used to tie the hammock to the tree ropes are sturdy and very well made. The hammock is large: I tried it first by myself, and while there's indeed plenty of room, there's probably TOO MUCH room. While lying in the hammock by myself, the edges would flap inside and almost close as a cocoon, making it a little bit uncomfortable. They cannot be left hanging on the outside of the hammock, as the tension on the ropes caused by my weight would pull them inside. On the other hand, sitting in it as in a porch swing is VERY COMFORTABLE: the extra fabric wraps nicely behind the head, meaning that one can comfortably rest and enjoy the swinging. Then I used it with my SO, and it was worth every dollar I spent on it. It was comfortable and relaxing, I rested quietly with her, and even if it's a little bit cramped, it's really enjoyable. It is indeed a double hammock: the extra room means that we could both easily lie in it, albeit very close one to the other (but this is not a con, if you are with your SO). Finally, a last word on folding it back: I enjoyed the fact that the pouch that contains it is quite large, meaning that even if it's not perfectly folded, it will still fit in the pouch. Folding it back was in fact easy and quick. All in all, a great purchase.

So good we're buying another!

So glad we bought this for our camping trip. I can't believe how small this packs down. It's incredibly sturdy and held up my 6'6" husband and myself super well. The only problem is that our girls took it over the first day camping. Buying another one today!

Fabric Tears Easily

I was fairly disappointed with this hammock - the first time I used it for an overnight camping trip a few months ago the fabric ended up tearing and so I haven't used it since. I feel like the fabric quality isn't all that great in comparison to the hammock I use to use before buying this one. I was hoping it would be a good purchase since I had heard good reviews about it, but my experience wasn't all that great. EDIT: Winner Outfitters was very good about reaching out to me in a timely fashion and sending me a new hammock. I am excited to use the new hammock and I'm hoping the fabric will be of better quality than the last one.

Does the job but QC is lacking for Winner Outfitters **edited 10/10/16**

The hammock itself seems to do the job well. It hangs well and is sturdy. The bag that everything is housed in is small and light, excellent for carrying along or placed in a larger ruck. However, I paid for a new product, yet both carabiners that came with the hammock were scratched and one of them looked bent--this was straight out of the plastic bag and nylon bag that it comes in. Also, one of the ropes that were included were frayed and looked like it was used. It makes me wonder who else used this hammock before me and why it was returned. I'm satisfied with the hammock itself, but the fact that I received less than new product parts annoys me. Hopefully, Winner Outfitters does a better job with QC in the future. **edit**: Winner Outfitters saw this review and responded the next day. I was given two options: (1) Request a full refund and keep the hammock or (2) Purchase another new hammock free of cost--I was emailed a personal coupon that covered the new hammock cost. I received the new hammock today and confirmed that everything is brand new and works as it should. Although my initial purchase had issues, I'm glad that Winner Outfitters corrected the issue quickly without me having to contact them. They are true to their word about ensuring 100% customer satisfaction and making it a simple process to correct any issues. I have been sleeping in the hammock that I got initially and have enjoyed using it every night. I can't compare it with any other brand since this is my first hammock. However, between the product quality and Winner Outfitters' customer service, I see no reason to change to a different brand for future outdoor furnishing purchases.

Fun, durable, light weight, and comfortable!

Very happy with this purchase! Not kidding or exaggerating, took me 45 seconds to set up by myself. Very durable yet light weight. Withstands a very rough 4 year old monkey (my little sister).100% sure I will be purchasing another one to camp in; instead of a tent. My little sister loved covering herself up and pretending she was cocooned. I bring that up because I saw some questions asking if you can close it up to avoid bugs and if in Florida, as I am, I wouldn't suggest doing that. If the sun is out it gets quite hot. Not necessarily because it's a thick material, because it's not, it's mostly because there is no ventilation. My little sister didn't seem to mind but the rest of us sure did. Pictured is my 6ft tall grandfather, he would have taken a nice nap in it if my little sister let him (she was obsessed). Also, the tree straps included are great! Really appreciate that they were included because some national parks only allow hammocks hung if you have tree straps. I hung it up between two Florida long leaf pines (the bark falls off these trees very easily), and they held up amazingly.
