Solid USB-C hub that has everything that I needed.
The build quality on this hub is very nice. The bottom has a nice carpet type layer that makes the unit stay in place which was something that I really liked. The size of the hub is a good size and its not big or small. The hardware quality is very good and does not feel like a cheap metal. My macbook only has a USB-C type plug so you really need a hub if you have a macbook. Everything that I tested was on my macbook. Network 1GB RJ45 port: It worked once I plugged it in. MacOS detected this hardware without any issues. Had no issues with this. HDMI: Worked as intended without any issues either. I was able to output to my 24" screen just fine. USB 3.0 Ports: No issues with this either. Speeds are great when transferring in and out. USB 2.0 Port: Worked without any issues either. SD & MicroSD: It mounted my cards fine without issues. This hub had all of the things that I needed so that was my first thing that I looked at and the price was good. I was very impressed by the build quality and overall feel of the device as well. I also thought the port placement was good. The HDMI cable that needed to be hooked up was on the other side of the hub. Also, the RJ45 cable was on the bottom end of the hub so the cable was not interfering with my macbook when it was in use.

Exactly like the Description
I recently purchased a MacBook adapter and after its performance it was time for me to buy a portable adapter which will work with both my laptop and phone (USB-C port). This adapter works flawlessly with both laptop and phone. There are 2x USB-A 3.0 1x USB-C 1x USB-A 2.0 1x Micro SD 1x SD 1x HDMI 1x Ethernet Ports in the adapter. It comes with a warning which states when fully loaded or power adapter in use it might get hot. For full warning, look in the picture. I tested all the ports and they work perfectly. Specially the USB-C works as power input as well which enables me to charge and get video output at the same time. This only connects to 1 input of MacBook which leaves another port open. I will really suggest to use separate port to charge the laptop. The adapter looks really nice and the metal finish gives an awesome feel. The bottom is made of slightly sticky plastic which gives more traction enabling the adapter to stay in on place. I couldnt find any downside but will keep updating if I can find any.

Easy to use, provides extra ports - perfect accessory for my tablet and older desktop
My Dell tablet only has one USB port. When I am away from my desktop, I use my Dell tablet. Since I work with important documents and images, I always bring my USB back-up and my SD card. And I prefer to use a mouse if I have a long work session. I got this 8-in-1 USB adapter for the USB 3.0 port and the SD/TF card reader. It was easy to use - plug and play! I used one USB 3.0 port for my wired mouse (I didn't want to buy a bluetooth mouse since it still works great.), one USB 3.0 port for my back-up flash drive, and I was able to insert my SD card directly into the hub without having to use another adapter. I can pull up files from both the SD card and the flash drive since they were both on the tablet. One picture I attached shows how the LEXAR and USB are connected to the tablet. These multiple ports were definitely helpful since I didn't have to compromise on what I needed to work, and I could do things more efficiently whether it is on a tablet or an older desktop. At work, my desktop is an older machine and does not have the card readers, so I have to use an adapter to insert the SD card. Now, with this VAVA, I can leave it plugged in and insert the SD card directly without having to get out the card adapter. Also, on my desktop, the 3 usb ports are very close to each other, so when I try to insert the card adapter that's very wide, I have to unattach the other two USB cords. This VAVA is compact and the finishing is elegant. I leave it plugged in at work and take it with my tablet when I need to work away from my desk. I haven't tested out the feature to connect to the TV screen. It'd be great if I can connect my desktop monitor to my laptop monitor with it. Overall, I'm a very satisfied customer.

Well-made, well-designed product with all the ports you'll need.,
Boxing: Simple, sturdy, no papers or ads Material: Thick cable with protection on both ends. Great gunmeta finish. Base is entirely rubberized. Very stable. Overall a very high quality feel Usage: I was in desperate need of the ethernet port as well as charging capabilities. I couldn't find an affordable dongle that looked good in quality. This thing has been perfect for both uses. No issues with charging or internet speeds. Cable Connection: very firm and clicky insertion. No wiggle at all and I've used it now for 3 weeks.

This is what you call a quality product
The first thing I did when I got the hub was to check if all of the ports were working, and indeed they were. I am currently using it with a 2017 macbook pro space grey and the hub matches the color almost perfectly. I think the build material is made of some metal alloy, because while traveling it got a few scuffs but I was able to completely wipe them off with a damp towel. I keep all my peripherals plugged into the hub and love the ability to plug my charger into the hub's USB-C port and then plug the hub into my laptop. This makes cable management a breeze and I only need to work with one cable when docking my laptop at my desk.

HDMI display out dock for Dell XPS
I got this hub to use as a dock for my Dell XPS 9350 laptop. I like to use a second monitor and this works great because it is a native display output. I was previously using a usb 3 dock that uses display link and performance and display quality isn't very good. This is much improved and no lag. Additionally the extra ports are very useful, I plan to get a USB C charger so I would only need to connect 1 cable when I am at my desk and it will charge, connect my keyboard/mouse and add my monitor. Very handy and easy.

Work's great with Samsung DeX!
I was looking for a good all-purpose USB-C HDMI and ethernet adapter for use while traveling to mirror my laptop display while traveling, and to my surprise, it works fantastically with Samsung DeX on both my old Samsung Galaxy S8 and my new Samsung Galaxy S10+ both with passthrough power! Here is what I love: -Small form factor -Durable Aluminum build -A nonslip rubberized bottom that keeps it in place -Ports galore. All work well and the connections feel good. -Samsung DeX experience is exceptional. This is not a review of that Software experience, but I'm a huge fan of this functionality and will probably use this VAVA adapter more for it than on my computer. Things I miss: -It doesn't come with a separate PD Charger/Power Adapter, but that's expected, and I can use the one I use with my phone and/or Laptop. Conclusion: This device is everything I wanted it to be. It's small enough to throw in my bag without even knowing it's there and durable enough to not have to worry about. Being able to use it for both my laptop and Samsung phones makes it an easy "every day carry" and something I won't leave the house without.

Fast transfer speed and stable quality
Perfectly adapter for my XPS 13. My main use for it is the card reader, for transmitting pictures from my still camera. I really love taking photos with my camera but it is not easy for me tot ransmit my photos to my laptop. Each time, I wasted so much time for transferring different kinds of files. I asked my friends and they recommended this USB C HUB, I did not expectthis hub a lot because what I used before for transfer my photos is the SD card reader, I don't me an that the SD card reader is not good but the USB C HUB has more functions and also has th function of the SD card reader, I was worried about the transmit speed of it because it has toomany functions sol think the speed of transferring the files might be influenced by it. But it really really surprised me a lot, the speed does not be influenced by its many functions.

S5E Samsung tablet use (charge while using?)
Yes, will charge while using with a couple of caveats. 1) slow charges at about 1A (vs almost 2A for fast charge). Unit takes about 1A to run with screen on and near full bright. With mouse attached, 80% bright screen it wavers at near or slightly above 0 ma (not charging or discharging). With lan cable active and downloading, draws down to -200ma apx. This is at 80% of full charge battery level. Once screen times out, you can sometimes catch the Accubattery app (where these numbers come from) showing about a 200ma charge rate. I have only had it a few hrs, so if something comes up I'll note it here. So far, works flawlessly with my Samsung S5e 10" tablet. With full screen and a mouse connected it hovers around 0ma (not charging or discharging). Upping the USB voltage from 5.1V to 5.25V allowed for a 75ma charge while in use. Over 5.25V seem to have no significant affect. If your into charge while using look at Samsung's pogo charging stand. At this time, they just came out. Will know more in a week after I receive it. Looks like that might provide a full fast charge while using. At least that's my hope, this unit will not quickly charge the unit while using it, but it will roughly maintain or slow charge it depending on screen brightness.

Easier than I thought
As I mentioned before, I have about 5 such devices from Dell, Lenovo and now from VAVA. Our company has new laptops with USB-C instead of normal USB, so we all need adapters like this for in-office and travel. I really like this device because you can charge your laptop from it. Windows 10 recognized it right away. I like this device better than the Dell USB-C adapters. The Dell one doesn't allow charging and is actually pretty flimsy. This one feels a lot better.
