Case is Awesome & Brilliant Colors

These watercolors are much thicker than others. I love these the best by far. The case is double sided so you have a mixing palette included essentially. I’ve never used blended pens before but they really equal endless possibilities! There is also a sponge included, which helps a lot. The paper pad is 80 pound weight and has excellent texture. Overall, what an adorable travel set!!!

Surprisingly good paint set

I thought these paints were a little chalky looking when I opened them, but when I spritzed them with water they were lovely to work with. They blend beautifully, and are quite pigmented. The two brushes with the set are probably the best of this type of brush (water barrel type). The paint set came with a watercolor pad, which was ok. I would definitely repurchase these paints.

Great quality and well put together system

I’ve been trying lots of watercolor products lately for various projects, and this set might be my favorite. It’s well organized, the palette options are great and so convenient. The paper, which I was considering to be just a bonus, is great quality. This is a perfect set for someone wanting to get into watercolors.

Get started with watercolor right away!

I love this watercolor set! I have been wanting to get one, and stumbled upon this. There are so many different colors, and they are so bright! The fact that this is a complete set with the paints, a watercolor paper pad, 2 brushes, and a sponge allowed me to be able to paint right away, which was awesome. I found a couple examples online and got to it, having not ever used watercolor before. This is a great set and I am very happy with my purchase!

Great set of watercolor paints!

This set of paints is awesome. Lots of colors and each is loaded with great pigmentation. They move and blend well. For a beginning watercolor artist it is an exceptional deal of for everyday practice. The included watercolor paper is not good quality, but okay for practice and doodling. I would\will purchase these paints again.

Vibrant, smooth, beautiful COLORS!

I love these paints I’ve only swatched a few so far but they are thick and creamy and vibrant! I tried straight from the pallet and watered down, both beautiful, I did not receive the two water brush pens that were advertised but I think the pallet and paper were worth the price. The paper isn’t as high quality as my arteza watercolor sketch book but still nice if you like highly textured paper. Great colors and nice little sketch pad for a decent price!

GREAT SET, BEST FOR BEGINNERS

I got hooked into this set of paints by artist, Shayda Campbell. She used it for one of her youtube tutorials on creating the "only watercolor flowers you'll ever, need," "the only leaves you'll ever need," etc. (in fact, the last thumbnail on this Amazon ad is Shayda's leaves). Anyway, being non-toxic formulas, they lay down a nice wash. I worked with their enclosed water brush (I find them all pretty useless) on their enclosed 15 sheets of paper (unusual but different tooth texture), but the point is, for the money, they're excellent. Yes, from PRC, but are best suited for beginners, or creating birthday, holiday cards. They are not lightfast, so use them on paintings/cards that won't be displayed 150 years from now! I'd recommend this thoughtfully assembled box of colors for everyone. Excellent paints.

Great beginner set, everything you need to get started

This is a great beginner set. It contains everything you need to try watercolor painting - paints, mixing palette, brushes and paper. The style of this set is very convenient, it’s set up like a travel set with small individual pans. This is much easier than liquid watercolor tubes and cuts down on wasted paint. It also allows you to have loads of colors and have it still be portable. The quality of the paints are pretty good. They are pigmented. I don’t think they are artists quality though. But you won’t care unless you are an actual artist and in any case it’s a good starter set.

Love these watercolors.

I ordered these about a month ago because I watched a YouTube video where the person demonstrating liked them and was not paid my Gencraft. I liked the color palette and was lookin to upgrade my watercolors. I love them. They’re are everything that is described about them. Colors nice, vibrant, not chalky or grainy. Creamy when wet. I am an experienced artist, but not a professional. The pan is great and makes a lot of sense for use. I was able to reorganize the pans into groupings that work for me. Love that aspect. It would be easy to travel with these pains as well. I use my own brush and have not tried the waterbrush included in the set, but it is decent. I am not thrilled with the paper, it has a blue tint and I like to use thicker stock, but maybe it could work for some people.
