I purchased the Academic Planner in Gray to manage the safety courses I teach. I needed an actual 'book' so that when I'm talking to clients, I don't have my head buried in my phone to determine my availability. I'm so pleased with this book. I loved the following features: *well constructed with a sturdier cover than my last date book *the closed spiraling will prevent the binding from 'catching' on items in my bags *nice page weight - (my notes made with fountain pen and ink don't bleed through to the next week!) *laminated monthly tabs for quick referencing *the handy two sided pocket makes keeping business cards and receipts handy until I file them Overall, this Planner has one of the nicest, most practical designs I've seen in quite a few years. It was designed by someone who KNOWS what a good, compact planner needs and understands the importance of a neat tool. I WILL reorder from this family-owned company again! *

I wanted a planner that had a little more room on each line to write, and one that had more lines per day, enough for 8 hours, a line an hour. It replaces the lavender one in the pic. It's just slightly bigger, and it's lovely! The color name is purple, but it's a lovely peony. It's more vibrant than MY picture shows - I wanted to show it next to another planner I had that was TOO vibrant a peony. This one is perfect. My college age daughter thinks so too. She just asked me to get her one (and I ordered it while writing this review). She's never asked for one before. Also, the paper felt odd and I was worried it would be hard to write on - but it's fine to write on, and the pencil doesn't smudge! This is a great price!

Great planner, it is a handy size fits very well in my bag or purse. Study flexible cover with a strap to hold it closed. The pages are thick and the paper is very easy to write on without the ink smearing.

I like the quick reference page, it's really useful if you carry it with you, especially since it has ac emergency contact spot as well as dr info. I normally use a regular notebook size planner but this size has enough room to track bill due dates as well as keep track of any weekly events going on. It does have a plastic page with pockets in the very back. Personally I don't have a need for it. The elastic band is nice to use to mark what week you're on. The few pages on the back is nice, especially if you need to write down something important. Only thing that would make this planner better is a pen slot.

Great planner, perfect for my needs. Simple design, clear fonts, good paper quality. I usually buy pocket size planners but this time needed something with more space for daily notes. The best features are the spiral binder and laminated monthly tags.

This planner was exactly what I was looking for and met (and exceeded) my expectations. I wanted a simple planner with lines and Monday-Wednesday on one side with Thursday-Sunday on the other side. It has a clean format and right to the point - no additional information to clutter the pages. No flowers or swirls, no frills the way I wanted it. There are plenty of "note" pages at the end and a great "contacts" page at the beginning. This planner was by far the best value for its category - other planners in stores ranged from $12-$25 for the same size and functionality. I like the little clear pocket at the end of the planner too which was a plus. Very impressed and pleased with this product. I do NOT take selecting a planner lightly as I am aware that you are committed to it for A YEAR! (There is nothing worse than a bad planner you are stuck with for the year). Thank you for this design!

For years I have ordered expensive planners that are large and are not portable. I loved them, but it was a pain because I couldn't take them with me so everything that was on my planner also had to go in my phone calendar. Sometimes things I put in my phone calendar didn't make it into my planner at home so, I was thrown off guard because I overcommitted to events. This weekly planner is the perfect size to throw in my purse so I can always have it with me and still have plenty of room to write in events and to do lists. It has a whole month view plus weekly views. The cover is thick plastic and very durable. I love the tabs for each month and the fact that the planner is for a whole year. I will definitely purchase again next year.

I like this planner. What I didn't realize is that it begins in July. I needed to record some stuff from the beginning of the year and needed to use it this month (June) so this planner would not be of any use until next month...nor could I use it to record some stuff I needed to have record of from previous months. But it made sense to me that if I was looking to move into the future with a planner that It would be current and not have past months this late in the year. I looked back at the add and saw it did say this was an updated planner...so my bad. Still I am given the option to return it so I think most people would be completely satisfied. It is a good quality planner and good company to offer a refund when I realized it wasn't going to work for my need.

This planner is the perfect size. I always struggle finding planners I like - I don't like spending a bunch of money on a planner because it makes me anxious about "ruining" the planner with my bad handwriting. This planner was super affordable so there's no pressure to be neat. The design is simple and sleek, flexible but sturdy enough that it will last through the year. I love the tabs on the side! Makes it easier to navigate. there's a stretchy band that holds the planner closed which I appreciate; my planners get pretty thick after I stick and glue things into it so it's nice to keep all that contained. It's slim and easy to slip into a backpack without taking up a lot of space. I was a little worried about the thickness of the pages because I HATE when ink shows through the page. I've thrown out brand new planners because my pen bled through the page...it's my biggest pet peeve. I use the pilot precise v7 pen and and it does not bleed through AT ALL! I sometimes like to decorate my planner when I have time so using markers (I use crayola supertips) and they do bleed a tiny bit but not enough for me to stop using markers in my planner. Overall, I'm impressed with the thickness of the paper. I don't really use the reference/contact pages in the beginning but the yearly overview is great, I like to put colored dots over days that I have events or something happening to see how my year looks. There are a few lined pages in the back for extra notes, a thick card stock map, and a clear plastic folder (I like to use this to store supplies like stickers and washi tape samples to decorate while I'm out). I will be purchasing another one of these once this one is used up, and I recommend anyone looking for a planner to give it a try! It's so affordable there's no reason not to honestly.
