After burning my fingers with the Makerbot Digitizer I had all but given up hope of finding something reasonably priced that could solve my 3d scanning need. I've got a few scans under my belt so far with the Sol scanner and I've been happy with the results so far. On another positive note I've found the tech support exemplary. I had a couple of questions during setup and initial scans and they responded very quickly.
