A good way to be prepared for emergencies

I've been meaning to get an emergency radio for a while. It has some features that make it useful for other purposes: headphone jack to play music from your phone is probably the biggest one. That's nice for camping if you want some chill music outdoors. But mostly I'm interested in this for emergencies. I like the large battery capacity. It can run off of actual batteries, charge via USB, charge via solar panel (see pic) or charge via hand crank. The radio works well, though I don't like that the SOS button is right near everything else, I already accidentally turned it on once which produces a loud alarm. It's also got a bright flashlight on the side, a good feature for an emergency radio.

Great for emergencies!!

I used this radio to find out what the weather conditions were and listen to some music to pass the time. The advance in DSP (Digital Signal Processing) technology have really made these radios far better than they used to be just a few years ago. The LED flashlight is also very bright. I would highly recommend this radio for the unexpected!

I ordered this as part of an emergency survival kit, I was greatly impressed that such a small item works so well, the radio has great quality sound very simple to use this unit. Everyone should have one of these just in the event of an emergency. Can’t think of anything negative about the product.

Great for all preppers

This is a must have for all emergency kits. The crank works perfectly and it picks up all local signals. Great quality and portable. I havent tested the water resistance but it seems to be air tight. Great purchase

Great product! Can power the radio via handacrank, solar, AAA batteries and rechargeable battery. Has 2 built in lights. And the internal rechargeable battery can even charge a cell phone!! Highly recommended and will come in handy during hurricane season in Florida!

Multi-function radio

Very happy to buy this versatile little radio，when I drive to travel, I don't have to worry about the phone not having a signal because it can broadcast emergency weather. can also be used as a flashlight and charge my ipad.I have not used the solar charging function, I am looking forward to its effect.

Best thing I have bought in a while

This thing is awesome sound is ok but at fullblast you can tell its a small speaker but charging your phone and all the extras its worth every penny use it every day legit. I got the smaller one too its awesome too but will only put 10% or so on your phone this one I never tried how much I could charge my phone but I did get it to 30% from 5 and thats awesome I was listening to the weather and fm radio at the same time warning using the charger messes with reception a bit
